Selling my car

Been offered £8500, I've told him £8800 with a bunch of stuff for the upkeep of the hood and chassis.

Hopefully he'll buy it, and I can go back to nice-but-sensible-car-land this week

Never fear though, I'll be saving the pennies for a second 'weekend' car

Why are you selling it Tom?

A number of reasons really.

Firstly, its not practical for me, and right now I can't afford to run 2 cars. In a couple of years I'll be able to, perhaps sooner, so I might get one again.

I also need more seats and more space.

I also am getting a bit fed up of 200 mile journies in a sports car I need an armchair to do it in. In a few weeks I have a job in Aberdeen, I really don't want to drive up there in a TVR I've had my fun in it (and boy has it been fun). Also, its very expensive to run, I've spend serious wads getting the car into tip-top condition. Still, I don't drink much or smoke anything, so I don't mind.

But really, I do tend to chop and change my cars regularly. This is car number 6 now since 1997.

I could actually buy your car Tommeh and also if I did I would find out where you live and do pooh's on your doorstep daily.

I must resist, a Honda Accord Type R awaits me.....must be sensible....must not buy Toms car......no........NO!

Had one guy who was all set to buy it, then he said he was getting stick off his wife, and therefore pulling out.

Well I found out today my job is moving back to Edinburgh, so i might be selling my Bavarian Hot Rod for something more sensible/economical

Got another guy coming around this Saturday.

lol, he phoned back today, had a week long sulk and is now buying the car again, so I've removed it from Ebay as I've had a few other people interested as well.
