Nice to see ppl getting pissed when they dont get a stone when they need one. The day after u see ppl selling them. Tho it was clearly stated that ONLY the ones that NEED them should be in the lottery. And in a few weeks, when all who need respec have got one, everyone can participate in it and roll for one for fun/profit/to annoy, whatever. (Atleast thats what i heard) as usual ppl will be pissed at others taking stuff they dont really need, but just wanna sell . And they will stop going to raids like these ones. Its all seen and done before.

I was there with 2 FG guild m8s and if ppl didn’t need the stones we had some ppl in the guild that REALLY needed the stones that could have them.
Fewer reasons to go to the DR = fewer ppl going there = smaller chance for the ppl that REALLY need the stones.
Thg arranged 2 DRs in one day. Would be possible if only the ppl that REALLY needed the stones turned up? Don’t think so.
With 12 FG at a DR there are over 50% chance of getting a stone.
Join some hunts and stop whining.

I have no objections to people bidding for a stone to GIVE it to a friend or a guild mate who needs it.

What annoys me is that people bid for the items they don't need, then charge extortionate ammounts to the people who DO actualkly need them. This is not just for dragon stones but also any high level drops. It annoys me. Grrrr.

If you are one of those few sad individuals that can only see any worth in doing something if you actually get something yourself out of it then what the post above says would be absolutely correct.

Fortunately the majority, non-sociopathic, largely unselfish folks who like helping out their mates and doing/experiencing new things will turn up anyway.

Really sad to see people exhibiting the sort of - "I am only out for me" attitude - its the attitude of the 'd00d' that ruins communities either online or in the real world. Even sadder to see them thinking it is absolutely right to think and behave like that (line 1 of quoted post).

I know plenty of people who attended because as a guild we wanted to be represented there - or because the alliance needed us to make it work or because we wanted to raise funds for relic doors or because they had guild mates who REALLY needed the stones and they wanted to help their friends. Self gain is not the only motivation for an action.

Would Thg have managed 2 raids in 1 day without opening up the drops to everyone on a 1 by 1 basis without considering need? Yes he did - those were the rules of the DR, the fact that some people choose to abuse it (publically) is a sad indictment of themselves.

I vote that we exclude anyone in our alliance doing this from all future alliance events on all of their characters. That should help put a stop to this sort of antisocial behaviour. We need team players to make an alliance and realm work, not people just out for themselves.

I know I wasnt on these raids, but heres my thoughts anyway.

I see a lil too much of greed in the realms, ppl asking enormous amounts of cash for certain drops, these stones are the worst example. Before the likes of the SI drops, BOI's and stones, ppl just donated their items to others who were in need of them, especially in guild or even in alliance. All too often we see ppl selling weapons they cant use, armour they cant wear or whatever uber drop they got.

Yes these items do have value, the weapons and armour i admit should be sellable, but these stones help your fellow realm players to be their best at defending the realm.

I would like to see lottos only done by the GMs of participating guilds, then they can distribute the stones accordingly in their own guild. That way hopefully the ppl who really need them get the help they need.

Flame away, but these days ppl seem to be getting mighty greedy.

The stones should be divided to guilds imo. With bringing more people will give you more stones, just like was done on the DR on saturday 26th off april. Might not have gone completly perfect but every guild there got atleast 1 career stone and 1 RA stone and most got more. Advantage is that people in guild would give the stone faster to the one who need the stone the most than divide it between people who need the money .

There will still be ppl coming to these kind of events, even tho they dont expect to gain anything on it, more than having fun and helping the realm etc etc. (tho they will become less and less as they never get anything, bcuz greedy ppl will lotto for things they dont need, or even that they cant use at all. 1st d-raid i was going to was when me and a couple of friends powerlvled alts of ours. The raid was near, so we tagged along. I had no intention whatsoever on gaining anything for it. No drops, no money, no respec stone. I even expected death, even tho i was just lvl 48 with that char. i still joined in. Tho after a while we saw that the dragon hadnt returned from the last time they killed her. So they all said they were gonna go for relic instead. (too bad some moron had to yell it out on irc tho. Low life twit...)

2nd raid i was goin to i didnt expect any drops, money, stones, chicks, balloons either. We killed her with like 120 ppl or so and had a great time.

So sure, there are ppl actually doing stuff for fun, to help out and to be nice. Always looking for money, drops, perfect groups kinda spoils the fun in the game (the little thats left that is).

imo this came along when SC came along, before SC no one wanted cash, what can you spend cash on? a wep? ok a mp wep is like 1 p, what do u do with the other 9 p ? etc etc... but since MP armour can cost up to 5p, and then like 2-3p for SC. And this is PER CHAR - people suddenly need/want the cash.

I agree, still a shame ppl cant act more for the benefit of the whole tho one of them things I guess.

im soo glad i was the 2nd person on excal to use my carear respecc (poon was 1st ) and now im very happy with my changes
