Christ, its hot here. I think I'm the only person in the country wearing jeans. I've barely eaten since I arrived. The heat takes away all your hunger. I'm going to sleep at 7pm and waking up at 4am. How long does this mental air fatigue thing last? I'm at my college at the minute, just had my induction with the other international students. Its 2 Japanese kids that don't speak a word of English, so I'm already not the dumbest student. :D The rest of them are Aussies. We stopped at Singapore and flew with Singapore Airlines and oh my christ you should've seen the air hostesses. Needless to say I joined the mile high club, with myself. I couldn't look at them without thinking of ladyboys.

Well, I'm stranded an hour from the apartment now and I've no money, or credit to phone my parents and get them to pick me up so I'm going to attempt to walk home, in the baking sun. There are wild kangeroos around here. You have to be careful when you drive!

I really miss my internet. Its 9 more weeks till we get our sofa, telly, computers etc. We're looking for a house to rent for a while, but its difficult to find one that allows dogs. We're getting out labrador back in 3 weeks, once its been through quarantine, the poor mutt.

Oh well, must dash.

When I moved to Dubai I actually took main tower PC, KB, mouse and cables as baggage just purchased a new LCD when I arrived. Needed something to keep me sane for the 6 weeks before the telly and everything else arrived.

Good luck with the move and make sure you have good insurance. Read the small print. When I unpacked found my 2 Kef speakers with torn cones I nearly cried. To then find out they were not covered on the insurance as they went over the cap limit (company move) :puke: . Luckily after some haggling the company was good enough to foot the bill for the replacements.

hehe told you it was hot - think it reached 40°C over christmas in Aus.

Ignore the PC, you don't need it - you have sun, sand and kangaroos.

Take the time to explore the country (or at least your local area), take lots of photos (to make everyone jealous back home) and when the PC does arrive, you'll not want it :D
