Well at the time i see this post I had just logged off from the game and was a bit pissed off, I was not able to exp at Advisors with my group top or bottom due to a lvl 50 wizard powerlvling a Sotl grey con inf. So off i went to DF with my group got down to the area just past the shredders to see 4 lvl 50s from Sotl zerging around helping/powerling a green con, then one at the princess room with a buff bott then another at the knights area by the hulks.

Thats why I wanted to know if you were against powerlvlers and buffs botts.

Didnt want to post it all at first as all everyone will end up posting is oh look another anti Sotl thread.. is it bollox.. its me pissed at people camping in popular exp spots and not giving a shit about others. (Baring the Friar at the Princess who did say she would move)

the alt probably was a minstrel.
seconly, there are many others places to xp than just advisors
thirdly, I would like to see the day, when every xp spot is camped by a powerleveler.

Advisors/princess/knights/plus a group running around killing all they see. Your right not every xp spot was camped just all the good ones.

Anyway old topic now  I wont give a shit in 10 bubs time.. just feel sorry for the people out there learning how to play there chars and lvl them the old fashioned way.

Easy solution - in a party the greys should get no XP. For example, if a lvl 50 is in a party, anyone 35 or less would get JACK. Solves loads.

Now that would be a good idea.

*[]thirdly, I would like to see the day, when every xp spot is camped by a powerleveler.[]*

did you even bother to go down to wights/celts, them > advisors. how about lyonesse? Many places to exp around albion.

Your anti-sotl attitude is so noticable. Keep it to yourself.

lol if you have the means to Power level an alt then by all means do it. A few days in emain and you can learn your class quite quickly. Once you hit level 50 RvR your playing style changes anyhow and you need to learn how to play all over again.

Well I see the last part of what you posted and though.. mmmkay he cant have read what i posted as i said Advisors/knights/princes/and a group running around.. not just advisors. Yes there was people camping at the bottom of barrows, a Knights Templar (Group) and a mixed group, both groups around lvl 46.

Your anti-sotl attitude is so noticable. Keep it to yourself.

Heh, yeah sure.

30+ lyonesse, barrows, DF

Albion seems to have the - df xp is ubar no dont want to join j00 tangler/gobbo/tree grp - syndrome.
The only time i saw catas active was when i was exping there with an fg. Yes the xp was awesome and flew from 24 to 30. Plus we where constantly getting pms with people wanting to join, thus we were never anything less than an fg. When i outleveled the place, being curious and all, all the searches i made in catas found 0 results. Lyonnesse has the df problem i mentioned before, when df opens people leave in hordes thinking they would join the uber group. Barrows has the same problem to a lesser extend, but i can only see some lowbie groups xping there and major pling going on (maybe i can convince a cabby to take me, i can heal your pet!). This and that people stop at 24 for thid then start all over again, makes it a quest just to find a group to xp with.
Finally i said what i wanted to say for weeks, now my cleric is retired and im off to xp my sz.
Thanks :)

Not quite true, while I agree going through the treadmill over and over is hell, PLing an alt doesn't teach you how to play that particular class, as a certain mincer alt (that has had a fair amount of PLing) found out tonite, won't name them, but they read here and know who they are. Get out with your chars more, learn how to use them for the multiple situations that you'll come across.

Not quite true, if you have seen the classes in action, and have the brains to figure out what they are doing, and why, you can learn to play a class pretty good (not refering to you afaik you arent pled). Example me playing a shammie. Basicaly given to me at 24, spent 3 hours in df trying to figure out those fancy buttons and stuff, went to thid, destroyed some elf weaklings then returned to xping and pling. The people i've grouped with(guild groups) didnt say "whoa look at that pled noob", i think they like how i play the class, and count on me playing it to its extend. Yes the first moments are akward, pressing wrong styles/spells etc (gave my thane to my housemate and started aoe pulling everything  ), but you can get the hang of a class if you know how to play the game.
