Thats right! looking for a decent/free MMO to play :) none of the subscription ones catch my eye lately :( been playing alot of lineage2 on a private server lately (although I won't go into that for obvious reasons/rules)

I'm looking for something a little like lineage2 (not rappelz, last chaos tho)

+rep reward for the person that gives me a game title I like (after trying it that is)

Well, CabalOnline is a lot of grinding, but you can do quests constantly! Before you finish all the quests for your level (and they are easy to find due to a smart ingame UI) you will raise a level and get new quests aviable to you as well! But ofc, even questing can become boring over time!

EDIT: Oh, and the quests themselves is what one could call "grind" quests many of them, where you either have to "kill 20 X" or "kill X until 5 Y has dropped", mixed with cleaning some instances and running a few delivery type missions (rare), but is that so different from DAoC that most here should have played to lvl 50 atleast once??

Yes.

If you played within the first couple of years of DAoC's retail release, you shouldn't have to ask this.

That's how MMOs work, if you haven't noticed.

Show me a MMO that doesn't involve you grinding away at something.

there are different kind of grinds tho, regular grind and korean grind :) big difference ;)

Ah, but that's a personal preference thing, not a grind defining thing ;) And as such, you can't suggest, or rather NOT suggest, a MMO with own preference to a person with different preference :D

Get a job you bum! Lots of grinding in there, and you level up skill, but you don't necessarily need it.

I would have said the same as Lethul said.

I don't think anyone that enjoyed the DAoC's playstyle would suddenly start enjoying the Korean grind fest.

9dragons online is pretty immense in my opinion... you should try it out:

9Dragons Online v20071120 - GameBorder

Úber fun to team up with a few mates and do stuff. You can play it pretty casual aswell, no need for úber grinding to get a few silver to buy a weapon so you can actually touch something, more focused on training your martial arts.

Whats up with the hostile tone?

And it is called a rhetorical question

actually, I've been playing kicks online for 8 months or so. It's a 5v5 footy game, and you'll probably only like it if that's your cup of tea.
