Seeking a new form of game

Well... not new form as such i'm looking for something new to play and i'm wondering if anyone knows any cool/free/trial games going at the moment (won't buy before i try) i love games with character development and alot of group play both PVP(not essential aslong as the PVE is fun) and PVE.

has a lineup of the cool games coming out in 2007, dunno if any are running beta's atm but worth looking in to ;o

rl is a good game tbh! try it, its not as addictive as daoc or anything, but its better in many ways
