Sunderland sack their manager Mick McCarthy..

why exactly? is there some1 else gonna be better for them? are they still hoping they gonna stay up?

mick mccarthy is a good guy and good manager imo, but without backing from bob murray (chairman) he couldn't do anything.

their target now is.. try to not set a new record low points score in premier league.. (currently 19 - set by sunderland lol) and given they've only got 10 points all season.. they need 16 pts from 10 games to get out of relegation zone as it stands.. or just the 9 from 10 to avoid new record.. a new manager aint gonna help without backing... record is inc!

I like Mick McCarthy - always tells it how it is. He brought a club that is 40 mill in debt back up but they were always going to struggle. Not sure who Sunderland think they can bring in who will do any better. Was bad enough with the Howard Wilkinson fiasco, but I think they've made another mistake here.

It's a seriously wierd thing to do - lets be honest, Sunderland didn't intend on staying up this season. He was put in charge of a team with zero talent, with the exception of Arca, a stack of injuries and given absolutely zero cash to spend and left to it.

To sack the man just ten games shy of the end of the season is pointless. All it does is unsettle a team that is already resigned to relegation with the lowest points tally ever in the prem and not a single home win.

I really feel sorry for you Black Cats fans - your board need to go, not the manager...

no, i dont like sven either. but the total witch hunt hes had against him for the past years just coz "hes not a noble englishman and thus isnt patriotic enough to be working hard enough (36 hours a day) to make sure england wins everything at all times no matter the costs" IS taking shit to far.
