Yeah, i know the feeling.
Had it myself a few times.
Level 43 is the worst level te be at.
Finding groups is a disaster.

I can understand the guy who says you are to low. A tree group cant have too many 43-44-45 or they will simply die a lot. Not taking time to answer is kinda assholish

But i found DF a good alternative for trees. Especially with auto not working any more. Fairly easy to find groups and even essence shredders give more exp then trees. And besides, trees are so boring.

I played with you a few times and would hate see you go.

Try playing an infil then.

Currently at lvl 45 -

For exp groups:

"Hello can I join your group?"
"You're too low level?"
"Er..I'm higher than you"
"We're looking for someone who can deal damage"
"Er...I can out-damage most tanks."
"We're trying to keep it small"
"Why? At you're level you cannot afford to"
"We're just looking for someone else."

For RvR groups:
"Hello can I join your group?"
"Yes. But why aren't you level 50 yet?"

Sharma, with all respect to you, at your level you will get resist after resist after resist from the witherwoodes and worms. It is not in any groups best interests to have people who can't do a job for the group ... it just leads to people dying and losing that precious xp.

There are lots of places you can xp nicely at your level, the Barrows & Darkness Falls for a start. Come back to the witherwoode's when you a sufficient level to contribute to the groups there.

If you leave realms because people don't include you in your groups, or xp the way you think they should then you'll be running out of realms really fast. From this and other posts you really maybe better off playing a single player game.

All the best in Midgard.

@ Tindel and everyone else.

It seems to be the same everywhere, you're gonna have a hard time levelling, there will be morons giving lame excuses about why you can't join their group. It's the way it is, and apparently the only way around it is just happening to be in certain circles, or making some good friends and having regular xp sessions together.

Wait til you get to high lvl in Midgard and hit the "Malmo time", i'm sure you'll have JUST as much luck :)

yeh LOADS of people are in barrows to get a group at lvl 43........................... Tanglers is full of 3 man sorc/wiz/cleric groups, so when you finally get your lvl 37-42 tangler group up and running they start yelling at you coz your camping their spot. The chance of gettign a df group is pretty bad coz most of the time we dont have access and you have to travel all the way from lyonesse to cam hills to be told theres no groups.

same here

it looks like most of players are there for 1 reason only and not for a game with some possible "ok" social aspects.

Do I detect a note of sarcasm there ?

Before I was level 46 I only spent a couple of hours at the Witherwoode's, with a guild group. I spent many happy hours in the Barrows, soloing in catacombs, using all the different hunting spots. And now Iv'e reached level 50.

Simple fact is - no one is obligated to level your character, other than yourself. Make your own groups, get together with friends, speak to guildmates about it.

Do something positive, and if you can't do something positive then go play another game. Whinging about how unfair it all is and what a terrible realm Albion/Prydwen is has to be, quite frankly, ridiculous.

I have always had full groups when I've been xp'ing, but I do recognise the right for people to go about doing things differently. Other realms will be just the same -- people are people whether they look like Britons or Kobolds.

I have been Setting up tree groups lately and for the guys that get to group with me will say its done nicely by the right class and lvl

I have always see tree groups as 44+

i even turned my best m8 down today he was 43
i was even harsh to turn down 43 and .6 to lvl down

The guys that do turn round and tell you your too low dont take it out on them it really isent there fault there just trying to make the group best as it can be

Saying that If you do go up to a group (no matter what lvl you are) and the group leader ignores you and gives you a a poor excuse then really do what i do turn round and find a group else where

(do you honestly want to spend 6 hours with some boreing sad group that dont respect you) i know i wouldent

The thing is 43 was a pain in the arse because it is only done in a full tang group - slow as hell but there most people did it that way and you will fine people in a full tang group will love you for it cuse it should be so easy for you -

Then if im still makeing tree groups come see me lvl 44 love to have ya :)

one more thing playing in middy (geez i would get confused who to hit in rvr)

Just go exp in Darkness Falls, before DF I thought I would stay level 48 forever but after 1 DF raid I got so many exp was really insane.

Hope oyu dont leave since had some nice times with you in Keltoi and Cornwall (untill I got a bit exp freaked and leveled too much :D).

Please think a bit more about what you are going to do since I was on a breaking point to join Midgard, Instead of deleting bought a second account and found out Mid/Pry aint all that really.

DF is ownage for xping. My armsman was level 32 and happily cashfarming in DF killing greens and collecting seals. After an hour or two, i realised i only had one bubble, couldn't work out why. Figured out later it was because i'd levelled :D

Only problem was when we lost access and mids came. Was in the middle of fighting 3 mobs when a norse sb came and cut me down. So I took down his name and now chaingank him in RvR for xpkilling my armsman :)

This thread is funny.

What level are tanglers?

Cause the finliaths in CF in hib are usually camped by lvl 35-50 players (as in groups made up of lvl 35-50).

So what if a lvl 43 will get resists? As I have said before in another thread, the pbaoe, even with 2/3 resists, will still outdamage all the tanks there. Teador, at lvl 30, can hit lvl 65 fins for around 100 when he hits.

Teador, fancy getting a fins group later to show these silly albs that pbaoe works? :)

Sharma: delete your albion char and come to hibs, join the luribomb revolution!

Agreed Jadow, DF is great for XP. I've had my ranger parked in there for 3 levels now, only problem being that I run out of arrows quite fast :)

There is a way around the usual hassles of finding a balanced, sustainable pick-up group. Get your guild comprising of mostly 40+ characters and see how far you can get in DF.

PL did this last week and had a blast. We took 3 groups of people mostly 40 - 50 but there was a level 30 there. Personally at 45 I made 2 bubbles in 1 hour before we eventually pulled the duke and 1 too many adds. But even factoring in the exp loss from dying and releasing I still made great exp, a lot of diamond seals, about 15 gold and a few drops for the guild from the named toughies.

Oh and we cleared most of Llyn Barfog last night *cheer*

Tanks exist to take damage, delivering damage is only a secondary job. Anything else you would like to know about DaOC? :)

And the "so what" is that there are lots of people of higher levels looking for good xp spots -- it makes far more sense for them to have the uber xp at Witherwoodes ... Sharma could have levelled LOTS of other places, as other people in their low to mid 40's have and still do.

So who does the damage in the highly popular 7 player Albion groups of 2 paladins, 2 clerics, 2 armsmen and a minstrel? Oh, silly question, they are SMITE clerics, no other type :)

Usp, they think Wizards do good damage, but i think they've never seen Eldritch/Enchanter PBAE then :)

And yes i think wizard is actually the class in Albion that does most damage :m00: :m00: :m00:

And the grouping in Albion..... turn someone down because he's lvl 43.... how pathetic.... hibs have 35-50 groups and i was in a group yesterday level range was like 34-48 and still good xp for the lowbies and and the higher people didn't say anything about the exp.

I must say that albs can whine shitloads about exp. I never hear a hib saying the exp is shit because the group is too low for him.

It's the minstrel who does the most damage in that group, because we are UBER!!!

at this moment i am lvl 48 whit my bers, played soon 30 days.
can say i have soloed close 90%, and it is hard, very hard whitout any pulling abilites.
when i reach 43 and notice lvl is boring like shceisse, joined or tryed every alliance/guild raid to items/xp and lately offcourse Darkness raids.
these raids have give sometimes many bbl nice and easy xp, but usually atleast half lvl hitting same mob hour after hour.
but what i try say join those item/xp hunts what alliance/guild organise, even you dont get any item but xp is usual great!

after reach 45 i was still trying this same style, but notice its even more harder, and now try keep ogma so much as possible in malmo, its only place for even decent xp, hate just how hard is get in when soloing, over 10 tryes and change to survive is under 30%.

dont give up lvl:ng! its boring but when want to give up, play alt?, go rvr?, there is allways some keeptaking etc going.
