On the upside:

Now people have a reason to go to Midgard again and take their keeps. Seemed a bit useless without Mids being worried about their relic.

I have no doubt though that we'll take it back soon enough. And I don't mind tit for tat, so Mids better be up 24/7 now.

Hib relic is now in middies relic keep, I heard albs are trying to get ours back. Its either us or mids can't do nothing but at least try to get it(was just told the relic would return to myrrdin anyway after 2 hours because mids are holding hib relic).

Well i really dont care if u get em back tonight, this was done to prove a point to the rest of midgard, who basicly go to emain and die everyday. We couldnt get enough peeps for a primetime raid, so by this we hope that the battle spirit will rise among the mids again, so we can do some nice primetime raids....

So im not proud of doing it that early but it was needed, now i hope we get some more real RvR in the frontiers defending relics/keeps etc..

You should actually be glad, now theres a chance you'll get some opposition instead of canonfodder.... :p

Well im out, GL on your take back hibbies you will get it eventually ;)

Seriously though...some thought on this relic raid:
- There's not a lot of Mid action lately. The ones that are active play at 07:00 in the morning? Not really doing the gameplay in your realm any favors with that.
- Mids having their relic back might motivate more of em to come out again, which is a good thing.
- Mids having their relic back gives them a reason to worry when we take their keeps.
- It IS a 24/7 game, and I guess if you have the players online to do it, it's ok to do a relic raid. I had an opportunity for a relic raid once in Albion, when we had 6 of their keeps, but by that time it was so late (01:00) that when I asked some people to come and bring some rams + peeps, most replied that they did not want to participate in a nighttime raid. Which I respect. I wouldn't plan on starting a RR at 01:00, but if the opportunity's there, I'd go for it.
- If you DO decide to go on a nighttime/earlymorning relic raid, at least be consistent in your morals. Don't flame others for doing the same thing.

though it give the victory a bit of a bitter taste that it was v.early.

I respect those that won't go on early raids, but i will do it if im invited!

My personal oppinion is that relics should change hands more often than they do, its boring when 1-2 realms has the relics for months.
If early raid are needed for that by god lets do early morning raids!!!

You know, it's just a game, they took our relic and had fun doing it. Good for them, stop whining.

Jeeze, lighten up!! When you get so frustrated because of something that hapened in-game you don't like you think it's necessary to insult other people you simply -don't- know, you have to get your priorities right. Sure you can be pissed off because they used smart tactics (whether they are lame or not, in your eyes) but surely it's not helping to insult ~100 people you never ever met.

Put your effords in organising a raid to take it back instead!

just annoyed cus i know it is not hard to take a relic keep that is undefended.

nevermind doing a massive keep take operation beforehand, then coming later to gloat about how they killed some NPC guards..

i mean, really.. if you wanted just the relic, you'd take it, make a post saying we did it cus the mids needed some morale boosting, and invite us to try and take it back, but you guys seem to have this false sense of acheivement, it's ... silly :)

funny thing is, #celticfist got visited by several of the people that went on this 'attack' (outing i would call it), and not one of them, except UrMe (dont know in-game nick), could rebuke any argument I put forward.. indeed, it did come across this raid was simply done as a huge trolling attempt, as you say shaniah :)

i dont say i have a difficult childhood, im saying, where i live, this is not so out of order.

dont ask me to 'accept' this raid is valid since it is a 24/7 server, then refuse to acknowledge that some people come from different backgrounds with different views on what is acceptable and what is not.. 'sweetie'.

the reason why i flamed was because i could not understand why FoM and Aesirs Blade seemed so happy at this... now that i have some idea, and at the blatant trolling witnessed in #celticfist, and here, in order to entice a reaction.. well :) I think i know why :D

Why would this make Mids want to go to emain more? its more likely do drive them to want to get banging on excal doors and get some str relics too.
