I didn't believe that for a second that series is dead and buried unfortunatly. What is Joss working on now? Wonder Woman?

Now if we had planned this properly we could have all talked about this seriously, and pretended it was true.

Quick mods! Make the posts sound like its true!

fucking noobs :p

Whedon is busy with a few projects anyway, so when it does happen it will be in a couple of years atleast. If only I could nail a Euro lottery triple roll over. I would buy the fucking rights from Fox and get Whedon to finish his damn story, its like watching the titanic and it going off before it sinks.

OK then. One for the conspiracy buffs:

Joss Whedon, hottest property in teh multiverse after the phenomenal success of Buffy and Angel.

Next project. Firefly. A hotter fanboy potato there has never been.

Sci-Fi channel chops and changes the order that the episodes are shown, gives it shit timeslots and, basically, scuppers it.

Why???!!

Deliberate?

Consider that it's main themes draw direct parallels (intentionally) with the state of our society today, and the fact that Mr Whedon has firmly put the moral of the story in the "it's better to be poor and free than to live under an oppressive government" camp.

Would an intrusive propaganda machine working on behalf of the US government have asked Sci-Fi to scupper it's hottest property because the US wouldn't want it's citizens to identify with the theme of basic freedoms over the rule of the State?

Enquiring minds.... ;)

Yes - that's exactly what a country which wears democracy on it's sleeve would do :/ Save this for the commies.

It's better than letting the only decent firefly thread on here die on it's arse :)

No, letting it die on it's arse was funnier.

I'm going into feedback and suggesting a consipracy/crack heads forum. Then you wierdos with stupid ideas can post them there well away from me.
