guess you never saw how fast a scout and a paladin (for endregen and slams) can kill oranges/reds ... not much slower then a necro.

was thinking of doing a small PL group at zombie camp NW of clifton. Last time i was there they were red/purple so a Necro PLing a Enh cleric and Earth Theurgy should be ok(both L40+).

they kill at a good rate, but the problem is, there is 3 in the group, so the one geting PLed gets way less xp than one would if PLed by 1 person, so its much slower

a long time ago. This was removed so there is no penalty any more afaik. ;o

Necro pet have never leeched xp and it still dont. They clearly said that over and over when SI came out . But yea 3 people in a grp will be much slower pl than 2 ppl in a grp unless those 3 ppl can chain red/purps at same speed as others. Still best PLers are necro or mincer with a buffed salamander pet killing nedfalls.
