Hello i have all the gimpzors.

Scouts suxor too few skills points

Sorcs well we suck not enough utility

Mincer we sook, no good damage all stuff on timers

Cleric sooks smite sucks was nerfed :/

I liek whine.

Tbh concentrate on your mids chars,

Hunters need loove, so does SB. Shammy and Runie do cope ok, not ubert but ok thats more then rest of mid/hib char.

And yes i play albion. Yes Necromancer is really good. Yes Sorcs own. Yes we suck still. :D

How about shhhh and get a clue, you don't know anything about me, if you want to know about my chars...

Scout, melee spec, I don't have as high bow and shield as rest of them.

Sorc, is just some group char I made for BG and group rvr when theres too many stealth zergers around, utility, why you think I made it, in fact shes still lvl20.

Mincer, its been lvl35-38 for about a month or so cause its abit boring for me.
Cleric, is a bot, nub.

Huntress, she was an old char, not as underpowered as many would like you to think, just needs evade 3 to be equal with other 2 archers, perfectly fine class.

SB, its over 2 years old from when I made my 1st char, perfectly fine class again.

Runie, made so I could go duo with a friends SM when I wanted.

I like to whine sometimes, this post from me is ment to be tho.

Don't think I need to focus on midgard, as I've been there and done that since I started DAoC, my previous post wasn't whine, I was stating facts why he hits hard.

So who are you Laalaa, just another whiner jumping on the wagoon?

sooo, a caster without nearsight(could include bolts too tbh) should: see bt drop, immediately do last attacker/face/quickcast...what? oh nothing you say? hes out of range you say? well hows that for "as long as your not slow or semi afk, scouts should be np" ?

I died of a scout today, he slammed me 2x crit shots, me down to 10% hp. from there i take down 180% of his hp (he ip) but he got of last hit and won :(

sounds pretty balanced... what exactly were u trying to say through that post...? I don't get the point :) Were you trying to say that he shouldn't have been able to kill you even though you were without purge? or just meaningless postfarm :p

im with you on this one. what hes basically saying is that scouts are absolutely shitmunchers in melee and that he lost due to not having purge up ^^

A class that dumps nearly half of their available specpoints into a line that cannot be used in melee shouldn't be able to do that that with reliability either. Ofcourse it might happen though. ;)

You wouldn't believe how many casters who get away simply by pushing a button called SPRINT.

No timer, no realmskillpoints required at all.

Are you suggesting that casters should be able to kill something that jumps THEM, reliably?

don't see what all this whining bout scouts is about. aussie has the rr to atleast kill most opponents, has nothing to do with them beeing overpowered, nothing changed except for zephyr.

only thing that needs a nerf is the ammount of nub scouts beeing rolled just cuz they think they'll own with NF :eek7: not that we don't appreciate the RPs... every run to emain u find atleast 1new scout, same goes for ranjurs tho, so freakin many new ones around.

and that poor caster, wish i'd find more casters like that standing around for 2crits or summin ;)

and tbfh, how far would a caster get if your standing (for the sake of argument) 1600range away? (he just cant hit you, he doesnt need to run that far to get oor)

what was it aussie found out? sprint was 136 units pr second? so in 10seconds hell almost be out of range!!

but k, sprint sounds fair....

and just because a caster can cast a spell, doesnt mean he'll wtfpwn you all the time, you have rapid fire, you have sureshot, you have melee, you have more hits. unless he has nearsight/stun that lands (and you dont purge it or ip is down) i rly dont see how he can win tbh...

you shoot, its bt'ed, he faces, nearsights or bolts or whatever. you dont care about damage, the only things you care about are stun and nearsight, if any of those land, you purge. either way you can press sure shot and kill him.
But suuure, unless your purge is down, and he has nearsight or stun and you are within range. He cant kill you unless you somehow manage to not use purge, or you press volley instead of sureshot or WHATEVER. his only option is to run, ok balanced. next please.

The caster in the first screen didn't have any BT up
He was too busy spamming shrooms because albs were inc form the other side
I have 2100 ws and Falcon Eye 4 (Crits on Arrows) so that screen is not a rare thing.

about 390'ish+ dex needed 4 a 2100ws, and just about an 230'ish crit 4 an additional even with FE4 is a bit low, realy low

its quite shokcing how crap the majority of alb scouts are on this server.

They go down like cheap japanese samuri's.

Even the good ones run if you so much as look at them.

Yes, that's what happens if the caster is standing still or running past you in a circle with a radius of 1600 loc units. ;)

Why the fuck shouldn't the archer be able to kill a caster he has the element of surprise on? The archer has a great frontloaded damage, but a shit DPS compared to a caster. The element of surprise is the archers bread and butter. It's what he does.

If the caster uses moc, fair enough he wins, but without it? Hell no.

1600+1360= 2960 loc unit's, I don't have that range. Except perhaps at keeps, but that's getting nerfed in 1.70 anyway to max 500 loc units bonus. I'm not even sure I have that range at the current OF keeps, I probably do though.

It's also possible to use heal charges. Albeit being a small heal, it might be what saves you before you get out of range.

And lets not forget brittle guards, sm pets, pets that heal, etc.

10 secs of sprint to get out of range, uh, yeah. No. Your arguement wouldn't hold water even if it was laminated.

Oh, and when you reply I'd like you to reply to every single statement instead of picking one and dissecting in and conveniently forgetting the rest. :D

Archery has shit DPS, go read up on the scout TL report, it shows the different combat mechanics' DPS.

Frontload on first shot != DPS.

Exactly what ANY caster can do if we use Sureshot, except Sureshot halves my damage in this shot, MOC doesn't.

And it saves alot of lives tbh. It's far from normal to get the perfect position against a target that moves through the area you're in.

A heal charge heals about the same as a Sureshot does against a caster, except Sureshot isn't at any wtfpwn speed, it's a normal shot concerning speed, but half damage. So it's not unlikely that you can survive by effectively ignoring that shot because of the heal charge.
