Dunno what sword/shield you use, but i guess you reach about 75 stre as you only have 39 there? where is the other +25 stre? and no con cap increase? doh doh doh.?another big loss again there.......... 200 hp? could go much higher. I seen your vault screenshot. with those items you should nearly cap everything. The template you showed there can be done with toa quests items.

I might be only RR3(and no this scout is 10 months old, so no NF fotm) but imo you are RR10 unworthy. You are supposed to be an example for all lower RR scouts.

yeah it sure will rox. 39 stre no Stre cap. so that leaves S/S to cap those gaps. +25 stre cap and +61 stre on 2 items? i don't think so.

Aussie's template isn't perfect, and I'd stash more archery bonuses in it since he's already using gsv etc, but the template isn't bad. 200 hp is omni resists yes, and it might be worth it on small hits where the resists don't come into their right. But against medium to high dmg done towards you, resists > 200 hp cap. As in a LW weapon PA etc.. And spirit/matter lw are coming into play as more people tend to ignore them in templates.
And no, it's not easy to get a good template for a scout since there's so few good items with good TOA archery boni. In this patch it's even impossible to get higher than 7% dmg. In NF it's not possible to get higher than 9% at any given time.

It's always nice to have a look at other templates to aid you in your own. If I hadn't seen Judas' (I think) template for example, I wouldn't have known about the ML10 leggings that fitted perfectly to my cleric temp.

well unlike caster items. scouts don't have those 4%-5% bonus items. pretty much every bonus for a scout is 2%-3% max. With both artifact bows being a piece of junk it gets even harder. Except for Tahn & Raguel there is nobody i know that comes close to a decent scout template. (that means have the items for it).

Dunno what you do as a scout then, when i go out 2/3 of what i meet are SB/NS/Hunter/Ranger and pre-NF you won't get to use your bow much against SB/NS unless you leech. Someone told me you got high RR on your scout in the days before SH and also from running with outlaw/zoyster. At first i didn't believe it, but now i start to believe it more and more. Scouts can do decent dmg in meelee and win from high RR SB/NS, it's just a matter of having the right spec. Again, i don't claim to know everything but i seen enough so far to know that if you spec meelee, you will be able to outmeelee SB/NS sometimes.

Ok, i'll post what i have so far. I know it's not perfect, then again i never claimed it was. It's the best i can do with the items i have. Feel free to give POSITIVE remarks. I'm still working on it
My spec is 50 slash 45 lb 35 stealth 8 shield. Why no 42 shield? Dual wielders kinda ignore the shield anyway so no point in taking that up. 8 shield gives me engage which is enough to block arrows. I tried to get a maximum dmg output that's why i chose 50 slash. 45 lb , 50 lb ain't worth those points to get a lil higher cap on bowdmg and 100% pbt penetration. i rather do a bit meelee dmg then also coz 80 with amy isn't gonna get me anywhere.
edited : I know that if i swap between bow / s/s i would lose about 100 hp. Thing is i won't get to swap coz i don't have slam. Running around with my s/s out so ihave those extra's from malice.
Some resists are only low 20, but in NF AoM 2 will get those up a bit for only 4 RA points. Meelee resists are decent with GSV : 25 crush and 31 thrust/slash.
-Winged helm is in there for the speed.
-I only needed 52 quick to hit 250 , so that's enough
-Stealth is overcapped, but canno't lower it in any way

Btw, might wanna get that 65 con higher if u wanna switch to s/s. You loose those hits yes yes when u swap. A basic knowledge while doing templates is not to use CON on weps/shields.

Flaming? Omg you gotta have smth wrong with ur head mate. I gave you an advice, simple as it. If I wanted to flame ya, I would have done in a whole different way, but ur mind is so focused on just reading flames, cool down abit n dont be so fckn aggressive.

But i do know i would lose the hp. but the times i get to use my bow = stand's off or leechs => no real meelee danger.
I run around with S/S out so i have the 100 hp extra, and as i can't stun/root my meelee opponent, i don't need to swap to bow. So basically it's no problem that i have con/hp on malice .

Nice template that Stony for the spec you have. Aussie's is also quite good, but its far from what I would say is *the* best

Stick in the items which you have already, or are easy enough to obtain, and then try to SC around them. Its hard work, and its taken me a long time, and many attempts, to finally get one I'm happy with, so be patient
