Scout and shield

I got a lvl 21 scout i ofc want to lvl 50
but want to know shall i go for slam or not?
and how much LB, and stealth if i mostly r in a stealther grp?
And last shall i go slash or thrust?

You're going to want a stun, and if you go 50 thurst just reroll Infiltrator. So go slam.
45 Longbow gives the last rapid fire.
35 stealth gives 50 stealth at rr5.
Thrust gives more weapon skill than slash.

hmm if i reroll and autotrain Lb i can get 29 weapon, 45 LB 35 stealth and 42 shield

with 45 bow you get 15 more dmg ( cap ) and a better rapid fire ( which IMO isnt usefull ) ..

i got 40 bow, 42 shield, 35 stealth and 35 slash, its a good spec, i do good melee dmg with amethyst slash at 29 slash spec ( been upto 210 dmg buffed ) and good bow dmg ( 1011 (-219) or something buffed ) , slam and 50 stealth at rr5

never did 1000+ dmg against a lvl 50 buffed or unbuffed Hib or Mid.

did 2 times 1000+ dmg but it was grey con which was running around in groge at 4am.

With a 5.5spd Longbow your critshot cap will be in the area of 1000-1080.

I mostly do over 900+ now(relics) on sbs with slash-arrows. It's damn nice. I did a 1051 today on a SC:d SB. Lucky crit i guess.

505 (-102) with 272 crit ( regular shot ) on a sb on the run

btw 2 ur first post. Who cares how ur Scout is skilled?
Only thing u need 2 make much rp's per week is a lvl 50 Buffbot with high MoA.

Even with 50 in thrust - the melee dmg a scout does is a joke.

The best template imo is:

35 stealth
50 bow
42 shield for slam
18 thrust (rest points)

I easily melee Shadowblades for 2xx damage with 29 + 18 Slash, Scout's melee is far from a joke.

This was my template. but I decided to stop at 45 and I'm now going

45 Bow
35 Stealth
42 Shiled ( slam )
28 thrust

When specing. get thrust to 18 as fast as possible, get bow = your level - sc bonus -- so for level 24, 19bow
then spec shield as much as you can..

(shield spec at low levels is rubbish)

At level 40. respec longbow and put the points into shield and the rest back into longbow so you have 40 Shield.
Use mini dings to bump up weapon spec. normal dings to move shield and longbow.
At 42 get slam, and start moving lb up to 45. then spec stealth and weapon spec even till you get 28 thrust. finish off with putting points into stealth

slam and df got same lenght on the stun and with 42 shield u block more then u do with evade 3 and dodger 2, maybe u dmg output in melee aint uber but wtf u r scout not tank

i tried low bow spec (39) down from my previous 46, both were maxxed from +items. i hated the variance on low bow. its not all about dmg caps, thats only half the story.

45bow now and i can still tell the difference from 46bow ^^ but its acceptable, 39 wasn't.

42 Shield gives you approx 25 % more health against most your melee opponents, and option to slam.

29 slash + xx does not do 2xx damage on a good sc'ed sb on regular basis. Might do 140-150 on average.

35 slash +xx gives you just about nada xtra in melee damage compared to 29 slash.

rf is very good, since often it allows you to kill a target with less
surplus damage therefore allowing you to kill more effeciant, and it allows to 'leech' in many situations. Its better to do 1/2 damage
than being interupted doing 0 damage.

xx trust will give higher ws and better damage against hib stealthers, while 29 slash gives good anytime and bonus against
mid stealters. Slash do perform very poor against hib stealthers tho since they are resistant.

df scout is funny and can be rewarding spec, but it cost atleast
8-14 rp to start with, and keep in mind that you evade is 1/2 against dw'ers. You can get a lot of other usefull ra's for those points.

Imo the easiest spec to start with is 45 bow, 42 shield, 29 slash and rest in stealth.
