I'm still amazed how some people think it's fun when someone steals 5p from someone... or steals the evq.... if it would have happend you, I take a guess you wouldn't laugh...

they might been stupid to trust him... but it's still nothing I find funny...

I see it as a chatlogg of when someone ruins someone else gaming experience...

I didn't find them very funny.. I can imagine many around here (including myself) falling for same kinda things.

And no, don't come and try me, I won't trust anyone anymore :)

Must've made alot people pretty unhappy :(
Beats me who'd want to be in his guild or alliance.

ROFLMAO !!! hats off to the guy :)

They only have themselves to blame, click ACCEPT and you are agreeing to give someone else your coin items, read the EULA and CoC, wonder how long before someone does the same here :)

If someone tells you that he/she can do you something, then he/she won't do it after you've given the items/money to him/her makes the scammer become a CoC breaker.

Rules of good conduct:

Users are expected to show respect for one another, to contribute to the cordial atmosphere of the game. Harassment of another person, insults or remarks intended to hurt another person will not be tolerated.

See (again) why GOA is ten times better than mythic.

Thats the thing Nerner used to get them to shut up on Broad anyways :(

I love the fact that when the victim gets robbed they go apeshit (which Im sure we all would) and then he gets a CSR to give em a day ban lol. Surely the CSR could have looked at the log just before the swearing and see what this creep did! :m00:

Yup, you offer to transfer/craft something - they click on ACCEPT and give you items or coin, you ignore them.... they then start to use naughty words...the paragraph above is better suited to the person insulting you, not the scammer. as shown by Narnar same as mythic if you ask me.

Ohh and dont read into the above that i say "GOA are Crap", as thats wrong, never had any problems with them when i played :)

then something called "common sense" strikes... that is something that doesn't excist in US since you can sue a fast food chain for becomming fat... but this is europe... and some common sense still lives here ;p

u think, aarween?
a thief here in the uk sued for loss of earnings coz the guy he was robbing shot him in the leg (or summin), despite the fact the thief never had a job...

this nerner guy in daoc tho so lame, imo yea should be banned for griefing, but isnt outrightly breaking CoC (i think?) coz the yanks click accept etc
i guess CSRs will be monitoring his actions like a hawk

are you sure the "loss of earning" part wasn't just something the newspapers made up? my guesses on that he got the money because he acually got shot... I don't know the brittish law that well... but I guess you can't shot someone even if he robs you and get away with it ;p

anyhow... as I understood it he tricked the people to accept... since he only shows part of the convertation I get the impression he told that it will be repaired or something if they press Accept... and that way steals the item...

I guess you could get a ban or at least a warning for that...

Not funny.

What's even more unfunny is the number of people who were thick enough to trade with him, despite his reputation.

This was the case of the farmer who shot 2 burglars who had broken into his home (his home had been targeted by burglars many times). 1 died and 1 was injured. The farmer was sent to prison and has been denied parole having served half his sentence since the Crown Prosecution Service claim he is still a threat to the public (i.e. burglars) since he refuses not to defend himself again if he is burgled again.

The burglar who was shot in the leg has been awarded legal aid to sue the farmer for loss of earnings of £15,000 despite never having had a job.

You read about things like this and the world seems to have gone crazy, in that honest people seem to have less rights than those commiting an illegal act. Oh well it's lawyers/judges sticking to the letter of the law rather than common sense.

heres my thoughts :D

all people (or most) ppl ripped off were noob's to DAoC..even though people were /spam warnings some ppl might have missed the warnings.

no matter how "Stupid" ppl are this kind of behaviour most probably has already made ppl leave DAoC over in US. I know if i was a noob & this happened to me, i just would not re-new my sub.

As for ToC's etc.. yes they clicked on the Accept but also in the chat logs both party's Agreed on a "Trade" which was about to take place, except 1 party never stuck to his agreement. surely this is against ToC's :( ?

i guess in a way this is a prime example on how selfish/stupid some people are who play DAoC :( lets face it, Realms are meant to work together ...what is the point in ripping your realm mates off? only in US i guess ;)

man that guys a dick fullstop.
and man Big G is soooooooooo into men in a sexual way

UO greif was funny/amusing the whole point of the game was that YOU could play a theif, scamming was always frowned upon, but daoc is totaly different u cant physically do anything aggro to a person in your realm, so fucking with your own team is just sad as fuck.... This kids going to grow up to be a right cock smoker. I didnt read much but is he an american?

The problem there was he shot the theives in the back. He pretty much peppered them if I remember rightly. If he had merely aimed at the legs he would have got away with it.

And back on topic, thats just harsh :/
