SC template stat caps etc

Hi

I have a set of crafted armour now and have put my spreadsheet together with all my base, race, ra stat enhancements, so I can calculate what I need on my armour. Some questions though, if anyone can help .....

I understand the caps are as follows:

str/con/dex/quick +75, HITS +200, Resists +26, skills +11.

However, is this JUST from items? For example, I believe if I increase CON, my HITS go up ....... so after I'd added maybe 50 CON from spellcrafting, my HITS will have gone up as a result, but can I still add +200 to HITS in item bonuses on top of this? In the same way, can my +5% to crush and energy (race resist for a luri) be added to +26% from items to give me 31% resist from crush/energy?

How difficult is it for a SC'er to use 100% gems?

What's a relatively safe overcharge level to base a template on for AF102 99% leather?

To try to minimise the chance of a BOOM, what level spellcrafter should I try to hire for the job?

Are there actual TOTAL caps for things like HITS, str, con, dex, quick? What I mean is ....... say there's a maximum cap on DEX of 300 (for arguments sake) and I know I can get +50 from buffs when I'm grouped, it wouldn't make any sense for me to take DEX above 250 with items. Or can hits/str/con/dex/quick all just keep going up and up within the boundaries of +200/+75 from items, +RA's, +buffs ?

Thanks for any advice

Caps are just from items

Racial attributes add to those caps (luris are max 31% crush etc).

See Psychohobbit our guild SCer as he knows all the aspects of this quite well indeed.

Currently there are total caps of 300 but this goes in 1.61 and there are no caps.

two things... if you don't have have ALOT of cash laying around for no use then MP gems are a nono imo.

and for any overcharge, use a SC with 1000+ skill :)

100% gems are easy to use but a bitch to make.

I won't take orders for making 100% gems, will do for 99% though.

Use 99% gems... 100% is to expensive and many SC'ers wont want to make 24 100% gems for a set of armour.

5 points overcharge is max. using all 99% gems and a 1001+ spellcrafter should be fine.. do 4 overcharge if your a little unsure about it.

1001+ or dont even bother imo.

Ask a random crafter about making one MP item. Then ask an SC'er to make 8 x 4 = 32 MP gems for you. 99% qual is good enough, you can get a 37/32 overcharge on MP items and 33/28 overcharge on 99% qual items if you use 99% qual gems and a lvl 1001+ sc'er.
