SB's still badly nerfed?

isnt Aurudrey or how ever the fk u spell it a rr10 infil fully sced up and buffed ? in thid i dont see what your moaning about my thid hunter Hauk fully sced buffed etc nice weaps can beat a unbuffed/buffed infil sced etc even with pa in hand to hand comb spear v sword pa only takes off about 10-15% so im sure if i made a sb and fully kited him up right spec id own 1 my only prob on hunter is they go round in like 3s with scouts scouts are pussys too the other day i 3 hited a blue infil with spear lol and im only 12 in spear this is solo too i dont hang around with a gang of sbs or hunters like albs cos there pussys

Want to try my gimped sb then, Corrosive?

Sbs are nerfed to hell and back still in my opinion. La absolutely sux. The reasoning behind it is terribly flawed and it knackers up everything for a SB as it spills over to crit as well. It relies on a number of hits to balance out the damage. In the meantime you are dead whilst the balancing is worked out full stop. A slash inf properly sc'd and buffed will definitely outdamage any sb 2x the amount. Stood toe to toe with no perf an inf will literally tear a sb apart. The thing i have noticed is that in Thid now there are a lot of new players and they have not had time to get fully kitted up. But the game ain't changed since i last played it and it makes playing an sb silly for me.

I know i am whining but weilding a sodding 2 handed thing is a damn joke when the inf hitting you back is evading and also hitting for more and faster. The only thing i can see me doing to help sort this out is to play on the pvp server. Are these good to play on? At least there i can make an inf and not feel guilty about it cos if i was to go to Albion no way would i want to make an inf cos it too damn good against sbs. I would end up feeling sorry for them for sure.

We got some great SB's, such as Aurudrey (stab at spelling) and Cylian, but as far as my experiments at Thid level are concerned we (SBs) are still incredibly weakened against infs! Has anyone worked out a template that can deal with it? At Thid level we are being outdamaged (still) over 2x our damage output. Fecking rediculous i know but i refuse to give up. I like this game but i am so upset by this that each time my subscription time comes for payment i soul search for reasons for staying. Feck sake i want to play an SB!

I have no idea what game you have been playing, but with my thidranki SB (critblade using 2h sword) I only lost three 1on1 fights in the time I had him, capped out, rerolled and capped out again, and never against an infil, or any alb stealther (I lost to a nightshade once though), and most of the time it wasn't even close, vs. unbuffed infils my garrote outdamaged their PA. Imo SB's can absolutely rule stealth battles in thid, because other assassins still don't have the full advantage of better dual wield mechanics, high evade (which is halved by dual wielders) and extra spec points, but sb's have full advantage of being able to use 2h weapons. just remember to make it a norse, there's absolutely no reason what so ever to make a kobold sb beyond the roleplay factor, and I thid I'd say you need to be a critblade. LA mechanics is lousy at lvl 50, but even worse at lvl 24.

in emain however it's a whole other matter, legendary weapons are an absolute joke (weapons that debuff 35% of their own damage type), I'm not sure what the guys at mythic was thinking when they added that proc. And it's hard work to survive as an SB in emain, either infils are thrust specced and has dragonfang, or they are slash specced and do absolutely rediculously high damage, not to mention that they usually travel in pairs or more, which I guess mids do aswell, but it makes it hard for us that prefer to solo

Actually, they can just spec thrust and then get a heat LW and so they get a nice bonus and it's still on dex/str.

I love the win/win situations, to bad we never get any.
