SB with shield???

Hi people.. im playing a mates SB called Krang and its very funny etc.

But something confused me today... hmmm

SB with a shield? i mean here is a link where u can see that SB's are able to use shields but is it possible? never tryed it my self and if it is wouldnt it be way off hand?
Then they would allmost pwn anything out there.. ofc if the block rate is high enough..

sbs can use small shield, but it sucks tbh

SB's can use it but can't train in it. So you have a base block rate of 2.5%, modified by your dex, so possibly 5% at the most.

ye but what about clerics? they block pretty much and they canr train or spec in it as well.. so basicly it could be kinda good if the block rate is high enough

scratchy used to be CS specced sb with shield and 1h sword ... he said the blockrate made up for the lack of dmg, have no idea if this is true (after all he is german) ... worth a test i guess ...

No way its a 9 sec. 5 sec or something, dunno havent played the warrior in ages.

I tried this a little on my BG1 Sb.

Its _ok_. But tbh, if I made a SB I would use a shield just because I cant stand the slow swing speed
