Assuming you don't want to use LA, I'd go something along the lines of 44 Sword, 44 CS, 35 Stealth, 35 Envenom

If I were you I'd go for the wyrd spec. :p There is a bug(or a feature, beats me) with dual wielders that they do same damage(minimal differance) when using cs/la/dw/cd styles. For this you need 51 weapon modified. So if you're rr2 go 39 +12, rr3 38 + 13 etc. Playing a friends ns on avalon every now and then, and without style bonus, melee bonus, 250 quick, and with 38 + 13 pierce 50 +13 cs I do 300+ alot with Achilleas. This is without relics. :p However you can't use sword styles with this spec since you do less damage then. But you got all you need in cs. :)

As a sb I'd probably go for something like this:
50 cs
38 sword
24 venom (+13 at rr3 gives you second last s/c debuff)
37 stealth (+13 makes it 50)
21 LA .. leftovers really :p

I havn't played a sb for a very long time though and I don't know how much LA affect your damage. So might wanna boost that if it's alot.

Hope that will be to any help.

Spec 50 whine, 50 complain and rest in mindless grumble and you'll do just as well as all the old time SBs :kissit:

I would go something like:

44 CS (the 6 last is not worth the cost imho, specially not with 0.3 specpoints less than infils)
38 sword (it wont take you that long time to reach RR3)
37 stealth (as I said, RR3 wont take long, might dumb to 36, as 49 eff-stealth is pretty liveable)
24 envenom (RR3 still is pretty quick, and you wont need higher str/con debuff, as it is less effective as a SB, as many of your opponents wont be using pure-str weapons, unless they want malice/battler combo (like me))
Rest LA to even your damage output out (31 for no-auto-train, 34 for auto-trained)

On the other side, you might consider:

35 stealth (is liveable)
39/41 CS (lowers your overall damage from CS styles a lot (30 PA cap with 39, 18 PA cap with 41)
39 LA (Evens both weapons out more and give your frosty-gaze style, always nice to stun mid combat)
38 Sword
24 Envenom

I probarly would have went for the 2nd one as a SB, just because a stun style can change a combat completly if done in the middle of everything.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, 39 CS if no-autotrain and 41 if Auto-trained (until lvl 40, the last 23 free-points is wasted, which is the bad side of this spec)

How much does speccing in LA influence your damage output? I am new to the sb as well and rolled one a few days ago.

For Infils and Nightshades, the 2nd hand spec increase the chance to swing the off-hand

But Shadowblades always swing the 2nd hand, but both their mainhand and offhand damage is decreased according to your effective spec in Left-Axe instead.

If you want complete formulars, try a google search :)

Luckily smiley can spec 50 whine and 50 complain and still have left over points from his overpowered 2.5 spec points. God forbid SB's are allowed to compete with infs on an even playing ground...sheesh.
