SB idea

LA nowadays totally shit
Critblade with slow wep is totally a joke after the PA versus most of the classes, especially other assassins, slow 2h swing speed versus uber evade rates.
NO good class specific RA's
Where in the hell can we have 6spd 2h weps?

Improvements for the SB
-More utilities/advantages on using 2h and even as being a critblade at all ( can't get any nice stuff in mind now)
-Avoid Pain / Vanish / Viper cheaper than the NS or Inf
-Add a 9sec stun on Aurora Borealis and make it easier to get in, the requirement for it to success is rather impossible practically atm.

Infils can't get viper btw..

+ you convienently(sp?) missed out the 80 hp before buffs extra that sbs get.. translates to ~200 hp when buffed..

Not all infs are thrust. Slash infs do not get dragonfang.

You can't be serious about viper/vanish/AP at cheaper price than infs or shades. I don't mind SBs replacing shadowrun with vanish, but only at same cost as infs.

oki, that was my bad, and it is about 50 hp btw. Also, you have to remember, that all assassins don't use buffbots? And even those extra HP's vanish very fast when the SB is in a 9 sec stun and is being hitted every 2 sec by a pissbuffed infi?

Just to conclude, SB's are the weakest assassins atm, and nothing cant change that, something needs to be done to balance em a bit.

But really though, why would Mythic want all assassins balanced, seriously ? Are Rangers/Hunters/Scouts all equal in strength to each other ? Is any class equal to its counter part ?
Its like comparing utility of RM vs Wizz vs Eldritch. Just my PoV on this argument, albeit i DO agree that SBs need some fixing in RA and in their class-defining Frontload damage capabilities < i dont agree on returning the LA to where it was at pre-nerf >.

I'm not asking for a total balance Ivan, I just want to give SB's a chance to win another assassin 1v1, atm its quite a small chance for the SB. I don't ask for a LA dmg restoration, because it was too high. But the RA and skill section needs improving.

Regardless how an SB specs now, when you loose a fight fully buffed vs an equal rr infil even after landing the PA/CD chain totaling almost 800 dmg. No ammount of love/RA`s will help out without a complete overhall of the class and style lines.

Dont play my sb much thanks to not being able to get at my buffbot ever since servers got hacked. Though I have fought infs with my spec of

35 stealth
50 axe
38 cs (will respec to 39 cs and drop stealth to 34)
35 env
whatever left in la cant remember.

Using the 1 handers to open and poison and the 2 hander for the front or rear positionals axe styles depending on how I open or if im unstealthed etc.
Well I was able to beat a friar which I wasnt able to do before when was 5 spec and have been able to beat higher rr infs solo (Araudry for one, he beat me to ) even with crappier buffs than them. Ofc I get beat etc to

Garotte is only anytime style on my qb and only used if target running away

Using the 1 handers with moa 3 can land pa/cd almost instantly after each other, then follow up with front positional 50 axe chain.
Also can land bs with the 1 handers and switch to 2 hander and land rear positional axe style while they are still stunned. Which means maybe 300 dmg from bs another 200-300 from rear positional style not counting dot/debuff dmg. This is before they have even hit you which isnt that bad.

It is tricky fiddling with all the weapons and all but seems good. Although unbuffed this spec is hopeless as you constantly get evaded with a 2 hander axe. Though buffed/fully sc'ed and having moa 3 and 3 points in aug str (or whatever ra is called) helps a lot.

Not sure if others have this spec but I like it a lot.

about the dex debuff yeah we need that badly I heard of some item reading vn boards that has dex/qui debuff charges but dunno what it is, maybe vn bs.

Remove Avoid Pain on Nightshades.
Let Celts be Nightshades.

Give Infiltrators 2.2 specpoints,lessen the stun on Dragonfang to 6 seconds.


Put range on buffs.

Here`s what i reckon.

Stun off evade for SB`s in the Sword line at 44 for rogue`s only.

Change sword to str/dex based for rogue`s only

Adjust the CS style (PA/BS2) formula to give an additional bonus on 2H attacks (PA/CD only)

Change all spec unique buffs (AF/Haste) to ranged.

Let infils keep there 2.5 spec points but give both SB`s and NS`s avoid pain (NS already have it ofc) but limit AP for SB`s/NS`s to level 2 maximum

Change Vanish to work like it should so that you loose the targetted person instantly instead of the 2-5 seconds it is currently.

Adjust Viper so that is a guaranteed 35%-75% crit on DoTs (making it worth while getting the RA)

Remove Wild Arcana from NS.

Give SB`s a new unique RA to augment damage to fit in with the melee ethos of Midgard.

With the coming style review to make other spec lines a viable option. Have Slash/Blades/Axe spec lines to higher damage than the Sword/Thrust/Pierce lines but at the expense of loosing stun styles to gain better anytime styles/chains and positional styles, downside being str/con debuffs hurt you more but you can hit alot harder than the other spec lines.
