Saw this last night too. Loved it. Great twists in it and quite unexpected.

As a big horror fan I thought this was an admirable addition to the genre.

Such enthusiasm!

I went to see it on Saturday having read a truckload of positive reviews and thought it bordered on the average-at-best/piss poor level. The scariest bits were in the trailers, the whole setup was a complete muddle and the quality of the acting, especially the doctor, was diabolical. I mean really fucking awful.

By the end I felt that I'd just watched an episode of the Crystal Maze with marginally more shouting and a less convincing cast.

Its average.

The acting of Elwes and Glover is generally appallig but in the last 20 minutes it beggars belief.

Had a few decent twists and twists that weren't merely a case of people trying to second guess them (and thus distracting from the story - take note M. Night Shmamamamamamamamlayan or what the fuck your name is).

Girlfriend said at the end "Steaming pile of turd" which was slightly harsh :)

Are you sure it was a review and not a request ?

Follow-up pictures please.

It was funny when the 'dead' guy in the middle of the room stood up and ripped off that latex face, though something that didn't seem to click with me was the orderly being chosen, granted the guy orchestrating it all was sick in the mind (probably quite literally with his tumour :p) and was punishing those who didn't appreciate their life where he was going to die anyway, but the orderly just didn't fit his requirements from what we saw of him.

The girl with the jaw device was a drug addict
The barbed wire guy had attempted suicide
I forget the motivation for the fire/safe one
The good doctor was cheating on his wife and the apathy he displays to terminal patients

But...the orderly didn't seem to have done anything wrong, he actually cared for the patients (that we saw) unless the only reason that he was there was part of the bigger plan for the doctor, still seems a little senseless and he was only there because the script needed a dummy bad guy to throw us off.

Plus the way that his part worked wasn't really consistant with the others, everyone else had a time limit to complete a task, his was to wait until 6pm? If I were told that there was a slow acting poison in my bloodstream and were as willing as he appeared to be to kill a woman and child, I wouldn't wait that long, unless his task was that he could only kill them after a certain time. Meh, anyhow, it just didn't make a whole lot of sense :p

Other than that, I enjoyed it :)

aye me too gunz

i like it when films do that, i would neva have guessed what happened at the end

I thought it was a good flick, although the doc's acting was a bit poor, imo should have probably casted William Macey instead would have been much better.

But then again apart from Danny Glover it didnt have any stars really that i recognised.

And I just saw it (mehehehe), what a great movie, especially the ending. The title really comes into place if you come to think of it. It's a must if you like movies like Seven, with a little bit more nasty thoughts in it.
