Savage race discussion.

Im planing to roll a savage but i have no idea on what race to choose.
What do u guys think?. A norse? or maybe a troll?

I enjoy my kabold so much more..

well.. if you going for 2h go for troll.. next patch overcap system comes and troll will be the best race for 2h. high str and low qui = hard hits

Well I'm lvling H2H Troll and it's just starting to work really nicely, was getting triple hits on purple cons in Varulvhamn tonight...

I don't see the point of playing the only H2H-capable race and not using H2H, really...might as well play it as it was meant to be played.

If you're dying to use 2H, use a Warrior - better armour.

Studded + Evade4 + Advanced Evade > Chain + Evade 1(?)

Selfbuffs is also nice.

Valk stats are a bit crap, but imo when you get to 50 and get some ra's etc it wont really matter.

I play a valk savage and its great.

I level a Troll 2h Savage to 50,

I don't like him,
I spec in hammer, sure Provoke is nice, with a dps + haste buff,

But, first, soloing pve with out my bot is hell, misses hurt alot, self buffs hurt alot..

RvR, if you like to Zerg or /stick Provoke,provoke,Provoke..

Good array of damage, always constant damage..
No big huge hits, Well, Ragnarok gives nice big hits..

Also being a troll, first, it seems everything around you is fast, you feel like a big slow oaf,
Also, sneaking up on people is hard, also trying to advoid people is hard..

And, in RvR, expect to be debuffed,Stuned,nuke,nuke,nuke'd alot,
As your big, and a easy target to click..

But, you do have the advantage of decent weapon skills, damage you can depend on..

Ive started a Kabold h2h Savage aswell, he only level 23 at the moment..

But i enjoy him alot more, sure, i got no good anytime style, but the H2h chains rock in pve, ive also started to triple hit, and thats great..

At BattleGrounds, dident have much problems getting kills, being a Small kabold, twas easy to advoid being targetted first, and moveing into Postion for Clan's Call very easy..

Probalby one of the best h2h styles..

5 second stun, high damage, low end cost, low to-hit bonus, from the back..

Nothing can escape you

Anyways, 2h, good constant damage, no huge hits, (apart from the Ragnarok4tehwin people) good weapon skill

h2h, very fast, chance to Quad hit for insane damage, some nifty styles, low weapon skill is a drag, also Claws look neat

for my own savage, i chose kobold cause i planned to go h2h all the way.

now as i've respecced sword at lvl 40, i regret that i did not choose a norse. (sword damage being 100% str based ++)

i do think i'll respec back to h2h in time, but i'll check out sword spec a tad in rvr first.
really think 2h spec will bore me, as there ain't no stun styles.

as i've played my own char to 40 with h2h spec and played a lvl 50 h2h savage, i can tell you that it's lots of fun

Not even a healer could save your ass then..

well if 3 enchanters hit you then at least they arent hitting the healer... and if the healers dies then he cant pr you or heal the others in the group!

and you should have purge up for when enchanters hit you
