UK Maps only the TomTom One is excellent the TomTom software is easily the best i have used. If you just want normal door to door no traffic ect get this i still use the One v1 and think its great have used the v3 in company cars so have no reason to think the v4 is not just as good.

would you make use of the Traffic feature? If your going different places every day and having real time traffic rerouting is useful to you sure. For what i do once every month or so its overkill.

What mobile do you have alot of phones can go gps now.

the N81 has GPS as far as I know, just go to your usual sources, you know the ones and get Garmin Mobile XT and put that on your and you've got yourself a winner!

Nokia Maps and Bluetooth GPS could be another cheaper option, I have used Maps on my 6210 Navigator and its decent and if i remember rightly not that expensive. N81 does not have built in GPS i don't think.
