Sarine Typical Mid? or just me?

Now dont get me wrong
RvR is never ament to be nice, everyones there too kill as many members from the other Realms

But there is one thing that miffs me, As many may have noticed the Servers are totaly Screwed atm (being kicked off every time I get on)

So to the point, I log on and am near amg in odins, I run through gate, get booted, a few hours later log on, and no surprise 2 mids (a Kobold, and a Norse (Sarine) now as soon as I get on 2 red squares, Now I have 0 intention to try fight or run, So I decide to bow and sit, only I cant, theres BIG lag

And yet the 2 mids can not only move but attack me whilst i cant even turn around, NowI know this isnt there fault, they arnt the ones running the Servers, But why ohh why couldnt u just let me be? its not like a Theur can do sod all in a normal situation in melee, let alone when I have so much lag I get booted nearly as soon as im on

So all I want to know, is this, Is it just me who thinks this is a bit off or is there anyone else out there who Thinks that Sarine (and maby Others from all rlms) just unable to Play fair?

You think if a mid would have logged in with same condition next to your group in your frontier wouldn't have suffered the same fate?

were you by any chance heading for undead camp in yggdra to kill little grey people ?

being a middie who have used ud camp to exp myself I know how irritating it can be to get killed by purples every 5 mins. So when ever I see an invader in midgard's frontiers I kill them or call for help to get them killed, no matter their con. A greycon to a lvl 50 might well be lvl 35 intending to make xp-deaths at ud camp. I myself try not to kill grey when invading other realms, but when you are invading expect to get killed.

Yeah, there were like this time where we tried grabbing relics, where i had 1fps or so, and a INFIL KILLED ME???

So, you expect to come to odins gate an live right?, oki, lets make an agreement, next time your 100 pals come for the relics (and you will prolly all lag alot), we'll just let you through, since well, your lagging and it wouldnt be fair to kill you.

We had something similar last night during the whole LD/lag fest last night. There was a rotating group of about 10 hibs at the AMG in Emain (sometimes we had 2 in the group sometimes7, people kept dropping). We walk through the MG and lo and behold who happens to log in but the infamous Sinister Never seen him before, been killed by him ever since I was lvl20

There was 4 of us, a bard (Melisande) two druids (Lourker and Quirina) and myself. He got mezzed, then I went to stun him but he resisted stun and ran off, we followed, lag jumped all over the place but luckily the tree kept on his tail and we did catch him in the end. Admittedly ganking someone who is just logging on and then LD's at the end of the fight would normally not be very satisfying but in this case I make an exception

IMO any lvl50 in odins is fair game whatever the circumstances - sarine is protecting our frontiers - and doing a damn fine job of it. Youre there invading our lands, what do you want? milk and cookies?

Yea for some reason Sarine did not seem to have any problems with her connection lastnight. She killed me on 3 seperate occasions when I came back from LD's as she was doing to everyone else.

The funny thing was I gave up on Odin's and went to Emain...and not once did people find me after logging in from an ld

I grouped with Sarine in Odins last night and ohhh yes we had some serious laa...aaa...aaaa...aaag and suffered from major LD's as the rest of prydwens population. She told me she had gone LD about 15 times yesterday evening. The only advantage was prolly we both have fast comp's and both came online fast. Each time we loged in there was like 40 peeps on prydwen.

And yes we roamed both MG's in odins, hunting after re-connecting stealthers
I can't count how many times I've been gang-raped in emain while loging in. Sending me straight to Hugin and a "nice" horse ride to Svasud.

You all have good points, Being in enemy land I should expect nothing less then be slain, but that wasnt the point, it was the fact I couldnt move for lag, when 2 people could.
No I dont expect people to sit and eat milk and cookies, thats just daft.
As for the relic talk, umm ok, never mentiond relic, but hey, there u go.
Slaying grey cons in yyggrd, well that no longer bothers me, after Mids being the ones who done it all the time, my attitude changed to, "when in rome, do as the romans do"
And as for Being a n00b (now if that isnt starting to get personal, then hmm) in some ways I am, I am the first to admit when it comes to pitting my int against others, Im up a creek without a paddle (A a blue con Hib can point out when I failed to get rid of his grey con pet 1st, Ohh how he Laughed, Ohh how I felt Stupid)

But every lesson, is a lesson learnt, and I allways melee if im out of options, had a few casses where a Mid runs to me for some Melee, and then when they die (6sec pbt) and some help from mates, then I can laugh (not verry often, but I need to have some good points)

This used to happen in UO. If it's obvious someone is LD or disconnected or whatever I won't attack them... it's just not fair play.
