Well after thinking blueyonder might provide a decent gaming service, I was a tad disappointed to find from launch they alienating both BY customers and to a greater extent non BY cutomers.
I went to the website and registered. WAs shocked at what I saw.
Remember BY are meant to have the wireplay user base, well do you think the wireplay user base are gonna stay when they read this?
Here is the offer for using any extended services for Blueyonder hi speed users.
So as a blueyonder customer who pays for the CM already, I am expected to pay extra if I wanted to register a clan. I can understand charging for the bookables, but I still dont understand the credits system.
Is it really wise for a non proven GSP to go so far into p2p at luanch?
And now the offer for non By users - "To activate or upgrade a subscription we first need to confirm your blueyonder hi-speed Internet account details. Once confirmed we will provide you with the 0800 telephone number for our subscription service hotline."
Well done BY you have created a service that pyshically cant be used by any of your wireplay users not on BY. Not only that but you want to charge these BY users, who pay enough as it is, for things that other GSP's offer for free.
I smell success for By gaming.
