Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1

Anyone got one of these or has had a play on one?

It's half the price of the nexus 10, lower resolution, 2000 mAh less battery, 1gb less ram but you have a micro sd slot.

I would mainly use it for watching tv shows, browsing forums and probably splashtop.

based on the fact i having used a nexus 7 past week, id go for the nexus 10 battery and screen make it worth while, tho lack of a card slot is a bummer.

Given a choice I would pick a Nexus device over a Galaxy device. The problem with Samsung (or any "branded" manufacturer) is that you're at the mercy of their software update schedule. With a Nexus device, you get the latest updates almost immediately from the people who created Android.

32GB isnt much these days if you want to put HD movies onto your HD screen :/

TBH iPad for the win, but if you MUST have an android device I'd also go for the Nexus. It took over two months for my Galaxy S3 to update to JellyBean from ICS.

I have 12gb of music that's 24 left already couple gigs of photos same of apps maybe a1080p dts film is around 10 gb. So only room for 2 if that

Operating system is about 2gb

Battery life of a Device is X any amount of content that can not be played in X could be seen as too much. My last two iPads have both been 16GB chances are I will be home again before I watch the five films I sync at any one time.
