Me and my G/F of the time plus 2 mates went to Brighton for a night out many moons ago. On the way we did a load of mushrooms .
A quite strange night was had by all, and at 1 oclock we got back on the train to take us back to crawley.
Only when we got off the train we wern't in crawley, we was in West Worthing. The next train was like, tomorrow, and our tickets wern't valid .
So being that we was still tripping we said I know, we'll walk home. Not the 8 or 10 miles or so from Worthing to Brighton in order to get on the right train, o no, but to Crawley. 35 miles.
It seemed funny for the first 5 miles or so, after that , nightmare .
We left Worthing about 1.30 am, and finally got home, via the train from Horsham, at 1 pm the next day. I had a new pair of Doc Martins on. It was cold. Arrggg !

I remember finding bottles of milk on ppls doorsteps, hoe good that was ! And how it was so cold we was huddled round the light that illuminates road signs to keep warm !
