What are the best dia items in DF for salvage? best ratio of seals per bar ? ..

afaik its the Long sword which is 15Dia seals and you get 100bar for it. which is 220g approx

Correct. Works out at a salvage value of very nearly 15 gold per seal once you've trinketed it. It returns 100 bars of Asterite per sword at 2.24g per bar.

what is the metalworking skill or whatever needed to effectivly salvage and trinket that stuff? it around 800 mark?

tailor is cheapest to skill up...

to level it make gloves and boots.... when u reach level 800 mae WC or Ac or somthing to power level your metal working (+leather) up to the 800... that can be done very cheaply... then u have a super salvager... :fluffle:

and if u get near alb / excal... come buy my seals in the house :)

667 if i remember correctly, some 2/3 factor in the equation gives 666.7 for a lvl 50 material. Though you might need more to trinket the material salvaged, by the time you get to 667 you can at least start ripping those expensive items up.

that i salvage

you will buy avernal long swort (from diamon merchant the 1st one) you must ne 600+ to take all material
you will take 100 asterite metal bars from 1 swort

I think it's better to just buy and trinket metal up to 600 then use the lowlvl crafts to quickly reach 1000 in metalworking.

Fletching is the fastest and cheapest method of increasing metalworking.
Arrows need one or two pieces of metal, so you can grab a ton of tries at
a time, plus an arrow takes next to no time to make.
