oki so lvling up an AC'r and just filled my vault with salvage, but im wondering @ what lvl do u get full amount of metal back from lvl 51 salvage ?

Although you'll get full salvage value at around 800 skill, you wont be able to trinket it effectively until you hit 1000 skill as then Arcanium hinges will be grey to you. Ideally, you'd want to get to 1025 skill so the Arcanium gem-studded jewellery boxes are grey too.

about 1 time out of 3-4 attempts you will have losses on salvage (fe: getting 7 arcanite instead of 15 when salvaging a 2h weapon)

Its not until 900+ that you can salvage anything without a risk off loss.

The lvl you need to salvage loot is the same as when the metal/wood ect. 'opens' up for you, aka when you can start crafting it. That means at 0 you can salvage bronze without loss, 100 you can salvage iron, ..... 900 you can salvage arcanium.
But from 100-200 below you can start salvaging, but with the risk not not getting the max return.

And remember its 900+ in the subskills, Metalworking, Clothworking, Woodworking and Leatherworking.
