I have played this game for over 6 months, and I started to get somewhat bored.. But last night! I had the GREATEST fun in my DAoC life!

Was hunting outside Druim Liegen with my lowbie alt Sunburst. Me, blathoox and Ricos' alt Salasar.

Somehow (how can that be? we just chained redcons!) I managed to die. Rico logged his warden to come ress, then a Minstrel came running along. He waved to Blathoox, and then killed him (what a twat! killing greys...) He disapeared, and we got ressed, and continued.

Then he came back, and after alot of /dance and /salutes, some veird stuff started to happen. Was not easy to communicate with only emotes, but somehow we managed. Took us a while, before we realised that he was pulling mobs for us, hehe.

Then we got bored, and I logged my bard. We dueled a few times (was hilarious, cause I have never tried my bard in melee with another char ). Guess my bluecon mace did its work, cause I think I had him (note to self: need a new mace..)

After some runnig around, Rico managed to get killed by Aucard. A franatic emote-show appeared from Russell, and I think he meant that we should go take Aucard (was _very_ har to cooperate, lol). We found Aucard killing a blue con Bard named..uhm. Bard outside DL. Sadly he managed to fire off a mezz at me, so I could not help Russell. When my mezz broke, i headed after Aucard, but just in time to see he get killed. I started to melee Aucard, but dnt think I could have pulled it off unless Rico came and fired of a stun.

I had the time of my life this night! Hope such events will occur again some time.

To Russell: Nice meeting you m8! You would have taken me if you had your level and epic. Lets try later some time

And scary name to make your minst. I remember killin a solo yellow minst in mid once just as i left hmg a while ago. Up on my screen pops, you have just killed Russell!. Argh, sent a cold shiver down my spine that.

it was fun indeed, and yes, it was hard to communicate lol. too bad we dont have more than /point and /bec !

btw, the first time i killed the little luri was a mistake, pressed dd instead of /wave macro :/ i apologize for that, not my fault he died by 1 dd really
i dont kill greys and greens, and besides, you hibs are so cute

do you remember, before i died, we were on that hill, and i started pointing and stuff (tried to to tell you to go to odins, so we could hunt together) hehe. and i wanted you to kill me to get back to albion faster.

anyway it was fun indeed. ill come visit gorge more often, hopefully i see more hibs there, so i can pull mobs for you

I had some nice fights with Russell on Gorre last night. Pierce-specced ranger vs. chain-wearing minstrel makes for a good punchup.

Weird seeing this post, as when i first started playing on the first couple of days of server opening my husband whose name is russell rolled a minstel called Russell. Only played to level 14 or so then started on MLF server. Hehe

No, that's my regular Excalibur spec - but I have pierce unusually high for a ranger (not many bother going to 44) and on 1.52, chain armour is now weak against pierce. I would have to be really lucky to be able to beat you and your blue con pet, though - or get a couple of arrows in first.
