Cheers salmur for lettin me and frag finish fight before u engaged even thou u were 2 and me solo. Was 1 of best fights so far both equally buffed almost :p Keep it that way :)

Well, actually I tried to engage, but it was like 5-6am here in Finland and I was watching F1-race at the same time, so I messed whit my keyboard a bit :)

What "the rest" do has nothing to do with honour.

RvR is not about duels, if you are 8 v 1 - you steamroll the 1 and take no casulties - that's the way it goes.

Yes, I've been noticing that.
But if it's 7v1 and Sal is nearby, Sal won't jump into the ganking just for 20rps.

RvR like the rest of the game SHOULD be about having fun :)
but sure some get their kicks from steamrolling 8v1, others have come to realise that a duel can be much more interesting.

Well, I did try to hunt alone, but only to find out that I rarely run into 1 alone stealther. Sure the mids do the same though, but sort of forces me to start teaming too. =/

yup think his the sb with most hp of em all , but is always nice pick a fight when his alone , and he solo mainly afaik.

And the F1 race was quite good, might watch it this year :)

I actually found a SB that was hunting alone AND without the aid of a buffbot. Foorau I think was the name. Now that person gets my total respect. What's more he actually had the balls to start a fight with me. He lost, but will always get far more respect from me than someone who beats me with a buffbot.

salamour has the most hp? A kobby more than a norse? Anyway.. you guys talk about duels you say rvr is not a duel.So wtf are you guys looking for? just gaining rps without testing your char? Its like exping after lvl 50 for no reason. Just getting rps getting rps ok you got 1000k so what? you aint using them if you just gank up on ppl. no wonder those sbs get so proud yeah we ganged jua over and over again. As if, if i didnt want to i wouldnt go another way. I am just looking for a descent fight Actually manage to kill on of them before the others notice and go help. But some ppl dont understand that either by leeching or when they keep on ganging up on me. anyway.. i am not refering to any of those 2 sbs. In fact i think frag is one of the fewest of all who plays that much solo he doesnt wait for the others to make the move and then join the fight. as they say here in USA : that kid has balls :)

yep Jua afaik salmur last longest and i know his a kobby and its not cause of capped resists cause i think all of em have capped thrust since they wear SC armor

Not duels thats for sure. It's Realm v Realm - not pvp.

The whole idea of the game is cooperative realm strategy - thats why there is no in built system/battle arena/server to duel other realms.

I don't need to test my char 1 v 1 - sure I do have 1v1's and I solo a fair bit, but I don't go in for duelling - don't see the benefit of it, and its only really topped in the arguments that ensue by bots, cheats and relic raids.

There is a world of difference between fighting a 1 v 1 in a "live" situation and duelling.

I've lost count how many times I've fought Frag and Sal.

OK so I lose quite a lot, especially when solo, but I always enjoy the scrap. After all I'm a scout so I'm supposed to lose.

And all I have to say is if it was n't for that damn purge I'd win a lot more ......

the whole idea? nobody is playing for the realm. If we did we d have the relics now . We never have df ffs. And do what play with grps? i have only been healed once in a battle or 2

Kaod, can you explain to me how sneaking around picking off enemy soloers helps your realm? Perhaps that solo inf was about to demolish Grallarhorn?

Midgard 5 Albion 0

Whilst we came together as a realm to capture the relics, the people not "playing for the realm" organised a truly awful, not to mention lazy defense and started sqaubbling publicly about how bad they were.
If you want to play in a more cooperative realm instead of moaning, thats down to you.

Simple. The backbone of the game is based around the inter-realm warfare.
The large attacks don't happen 24/7 though, and other elements of the game are fun too.
Sneaking around solo and killing soloers for the fun, and for the purpose (now) of raising your RR to get better RA's to help you kill others.
This helps achieve better attacking/defending on the part of your char when needed.

If sneaking around and dueling was so truly important to so many people, why didn't pvp last?

And btw - any char removed from a keep or especially relic keep area is in the best interests of the defending realm.
Guess scouting duties are not something your realm takes much interest in.
