I've just landed in the sales business. It's the same as other sales businesses, except there is alot more to remember. I am calling to entreprenours, carpenters, glassworkers etc etc and getting them to sign a 1 year contract for a certain amount. And of course they are not the happiest bunch. My third day and i am really not feeling it. Feeling physical and mental discomfort talking to a bunch of rettards that have their own business but cant act professional. And this load of sh*t we are selling, everyone is acting like its the best thing ever but it's just a large a scam as always.

Givf new yobs.

Sounds ike a soul sucking job for selling devils dingleberries to foolish humans.

Well, silver lining, you got a job. Many would sell that soul you're giving to be there.

So, solution? Don't take it so seriously. Start thinking of it as a hobby. Have fun where you xcan, of people ofcourse. Try to see how much bullsh*t you can get away with at work, and with clients. Find some person at the office who you can do all this with and generally waste time. Make that b*tch of a job your plaything.

This is awful advice btw and will most likely get you fired, if you're a regular person of the society :p

Actually it is a great piece of advice. I just need to know how to not take it so serious. It is not that easy initially.

get more money on the dole in scandinavia than in the UK so no need to leave ;)

Except that you need to get fired etc or you're out of cash for three months :p

But yeah, "dole" money is good around here.

I would suggest thinking of this job being a learning experience - once you see it as reasonably temporary then the load often gets lifted, and it really does sound like it should be temporary if you're not feeling it. It allows you to still connect and make friends without worrying about long term professionalism.

If there was a bridge from the UK to the Scandinavian countires, we'd have a emigration crisis, and you'd have a imigration crisis

Been there man! Worked for a hiring agency, hired out to Postkodslotteriet... Basicly trying to get ppl to come back, 2 weeks AFTER they had left, having nothing to offer to them. Pain the fucking behind.

My advice: other than whats already been mentioned (learning experience) DONT quit when you're down about it. If you decide to quit, atleast quit when you feel you can manage the work and are on a high; otherwise you'll feel you're letting yourself down.
