Apple - Safari 3 Public Beta

Anyone tried this?

I gave it a go and it works very well. It is very quick!
But I would prefer it to have a "Windows" look to it instead of the "Mac" look about it but I guess it's their software...

Its only in Beta at the moment though...

It loads slower than Ie and firefox, I like the look of it, but it offers me nothing over firefox at the moment. Maybe when they actually make it faster it will be good.

I may have misread this, but apparently Safari so far on Windows has more holes than Firefox has ever had - but saying that it's early days. Always good to have some competition as such, but I think I'd prefer to see a browser that's both functional and reasonably safe without being overly complicated in the process, which is where Firefox fits in quite nicely - it's no security god by all means but a long way better than IE.

Will be keeping an eye either way, always good to try new things :)

It's so ugly looking :\

Why on earth do they make the Windows iTunes and Safari look like a Mac, it just looks retarded.

It'll be quite useful for web development, I'll finally be able to test out a site with Safari to make sure it works.

I seriously doubt I'll be using this though. After using Firefox for so long I find it quite annoying to use a browser without extensions. I'm just too used to mouse gestures to go back to anything else.
