give him hiccups forever! thats a good punishment imo

give more inventive punishments :(

Make him run 400m over nothing but upsidedown power plugs :D

After that any man should be free to go ...

I think that this punishment suits him tbh. Im all out for democracy and all that shit "go bush", but dont think we should be in Iraq, or not at this time. Saddam deserves many times over this sentence for the very cruel acts he carried out while in his rule. Torturing kids and making the parents watch, and other twisted cruel deads is just plain sick, he deserves to die.. And he will... The question really is. How long will it be before he actually hangs...

I dont think they will actually hang them unless Iraq really does want a civil war - and I doubt the US and UK will be prepared to fight in it (at least, I hope the UK wouldnt). There will be mass riots if the do kill him. I'm all for true justice, but in this case I wonder how much will be gained from executing him - yes, the people who are related to all those tortured, gassed, exectued citizens will feel that their tragedy avenged, but what about all those who would be affected by the mobs :(

Best guess, I think they'll hand him over to the EU who will keep him in prision till he dies.

Think it was already mentioned, but once sentenced he can appeal. If he failes they will hang him in 30 days.

Would be a nice christmas present hehe

But again, the religion is irrelevant anything can be twisted to recruit easily led people,
just look at the US who are starting wars over "democracy", yet i dont see you making posts about

i hate democracy, its just an excuse for control
What a load of BS.
Democracy is a way to ensure nobody controls the population.
Sure democracy isn’t perfect, but its god damn close in 95% of the countries that have it.

Look at the refuge situation. Where in the world are people fleeing? Denmark, Sweden, UK, US, France?? Nope. WE are the countries that people flee to from every corner of the world.
Here we can say what we want. The press can write what they want (Except about Muslims, because they will go medieval on you. Go figure).

which cave do you live in?
In the US you can be taken out of the street with no evidence whatsoever (all they have to do is "suspect" you of being a terrorist), sent to a country where torute is legal, have a confession tortured out of you and then shipped back for a military tribuneral (not even a civil court so you dont have the right to appoint your own attourney), and then put back in prison to rot
Now the above is real and it can, and probably already, happen.

Your entire post has no argument which is on topic in it at all,
Democracy has been used as an excuse for war for years, the war on Iraq was completely illegal so the people in charge (bush and blair) should be tried accordingly, but they wont
Israel wiped half the population of lebannon (figure of speech), and still got off scott free

The winners make the rules, regardless of regime or motivation. While this is true political leaders will use any means necessary to further their goals be it a violation of a religious belief, or painting a certain picture to further a political regime

In my opinion political leaders should be forced to lead armies like kings used to, at least the issue would be solved with a few thousand troops in the military than a hundred thousand civilians

Not if your going about your business, form what I see the innocnent people who get dragged into to these sort of situations have some relationship with other suspects.

They don't just pick people out from the crowd and add them to suspect lists. They get there for a reason, sometimes its vauge but that's life and not just with terrorism. if you share a house with a drug dealer your gonna get frisked too.

Its not what happens it's what the government has the ability to do. One day its terrorism, the next day its people that stand against the current government. The US is bringing in several laws which allow you to be detaned without evidence and without the ability to have a fair trial, can you see how that can be abused?

It's dumb - while the scumbag certainly deserves to die for all the blood on his hands, now he'll just become a martyr. A convenient figurehead for any wannabe jihadis out there. Solitary confinement for life would have been wiser, if less satisfying. He should have been a Rudolf Hess, but now he'll be a Che Guevara.

You should watch Fareignheight 9/11. Sure it was a documentary only interested in one side of the story but it did highlight some crazy stuff going on in America. From the top of my head I remember one US state infiltrating a peace-campaign group which contained 50-70yr old hippies, as it was thought they were a threat. Another example was of a 70yr old being visited by the FBI because he had mentioned in his local gym that he didnt support the US being in Iraq.

The Patriot Act (which allows unrestrictive monitoring of all your activities) wouldnt be out of place in any other dictatorship or communist country.
