Oh dear. You miss the point by a wide margin. It's not that Albs couldn't do an alarm clock raid: check the populations at 3am, and you'll still find we outnumber you significantly. It's that it leads to... more alarm clock raids. It means that people who aren't able to get up at 4am - I can't, I work for a living - never get to go on a relic raid, because no one will bother to invest the time and effort to plan a relic raid in prime time when they know that some bunch of insomniacs/students/unemployed Swedes (delete as appropriate) will have pinched them back again by 5am the next day.

No I do not think so, you failed to see whom the reply was aimed at. That is understandable since it is a long long long never ending thread but I would have written Albs instead of you if I had meant Albs in general.

I guess I should delete insomniacs, students, unemployed and swedes then. I sleep very well, about 8 hours each night as normal, been working full time the last 23 years and I am not swedish.

You mentioned where the fun was in bashing some NPC`s in the middle of the night. Nowhere. absolutely nowhere. The fun is all in between when you have a bit more to bash the enemies with, to farm the coins and get the quests or dragon, end-bosses and all the rest done. Thats where the fun is to me. Not in the half or whole hour it takes to grab some relics.

Others, ( Not you here Gordonax ) including the person my first post was aimed at, keep telling of spineless, cheating, no honor ( insert random offending word here ) Mids while they forget the undefended keeps in their own backyard. In average 98% of the time any "seriously" RvR is about keeps and RP`s and not relics and Mids is always out to take back and defend, whit or without relics, while you will have to be lucky finding 2 - 3 fg Albs ( In general, not always ) do the same.
"Others" should tell me about honor, pride, ( insert random offending word here too ) about that and not be so hasty throwing geological fragments while they reside in a transparent domicil.

I'm long past this argument, but seriously if you want to try baiting people, you really should do it with a little more thought.

It would for a time create more interest in taking it back and thus create more rvr outside emain.

Guess you just don't understand. Alarm clock relic ping pong gets very boring, very quickly. The whole point is that primetime raids allow more people to be involved (aslong as the server holds ofc), are more of a challenge, and as a result are more fun. And that is what this game is supposed to be about...

I had a very long, nice relaxing break. I am loving toa, it's fun and has a much better pve system. I have been to emain once for a quick suicicde. I still think relic raids off peak are lame, but theres nothing wrong keep takes imo. It's easy enough to take them back an hour later with 8 people.

Well all that talk of honour/pride/etc is bollocks when applied to particular realms. No one has a monopoly on them, just as no realm has a monopoly on idiots/lamers/cheats. And I remember times when Mids had no relics - and the only way you could get them out to retake keeps was by taking all of them at once...
