Sabre recruiting

Lo guys,

After a few problems and people leaving sabre we have experianced a bit of a short fall in terms of getting a guild grp out and doing regular rvr.
For this reason we have decided to start recruiting again and are currently looking for two or 3 characters to join us. We need a druid (preferably ml5 perf and 44 nurture 31 regrowth) and a caster (preferably a bainshee or a chanter).
Applicants should be templated (or vry close to completion) and at least have started their mls. We would also expect u to be somewhere around rr4 aswell.
Our primary activity is rvr, running balanced grps mainly on a monday, wednesday and friday night.

Well tbh if they state they will focus on rvr only. I personaly dont see why they shouldnt only take in done-characters.

I thinks it's wrong to start flaming them.. and especialy log on here and just throw shite with no backup.. I know ( alot of fucking people know ) these people, and i would never belive they would just "boot people out because they are not templated" > (...) Without taking a good talk with the person before, explaining the reasons and so on, and so on... And i do belive we can all nod oure heads ageeing, that if things are explained and have a good basis, it's legit to "tell" people to maybe consider another guild.

It's take's alot of energy and patience running a RvR only focused guild.
and tbfh i can perfectly understand why you have to be strickt with the rules.
If one isnt "Stlong" enough the whole chain Will! break! and would in the end mean that no-one get's the satisfaction needed and will /gc quit or even /q for good.

Im not a GM but i know that was not the reason. If you one of the ones who was asked to leave you should know why. Telling the reason here would make you cry irl so lets keep it private

soz but at this point i have to say somethin, a post was left on guild forum, sayin basically there where alot of un templated and non active peps in the guild, names of the people and for wat class where put on the forum, then at the bottom it said if your name is not on the list please remove yourself from the guild. that is the only reason any1 was given, no1 was told directly just via a forum post =).

p.s my reason i guess was different, even thou 3/5 peps voted for me to stay in guild after that. and no i aint really bothered about being kicked just dnt like peps given a false impression.

anyway the flamethread on FH improved my skills i admit.

the 2nd point the req allways been rr4 and temp about done so if thats the reason you claim you got kicked you should'nt been invited in the 1st place or did you make a fake application maybe?

While not wanting to lower myself into getting involved in a flame war, I feel I must say something now.

The majority of sabre members are of the more mature variety and peeps were asked to leave because of some fairly ott immanture bevaviour..This was not personal, even a very good freind of ours was asked to leave for his part.

Whether this was wrong or right is something I have to deal with and is not a subject for a public forum, but the fact still remains that we would like to have some new RvR orientated members.

So please, flame us all you want but unless you have been in the guild you have no room to comment. And those that have been in the guild, remember that you propably enjoyed your stay with us for the most part and just accept that some peeps just cant get on together

As a long-standing member of sabre, I cannot say anything else than that the people in it are a bunch of good-hearted, fun-loving, though serious-minded players. Every one of our members know how to play their characters, we got good bards (Tarah and Godwyn) who both know how to handle their business in RvR, good druids (Adlatus and apocolypse and bertram) whom most of you must have run with every now and then.
Our warden Logann is one of the best wardens in hib/excal in my opinion. As in every guild we have quite enough damage dealers at the moment who also know what they're doing, for example Arowynn, oari, noobinette, bertrams, excessum and some more. So if you are up for some organised RvR with a nice bunch of experienced people, either as a suport class or a damage dealing class (though support classes are more needed atm), then go give one of the Sabre GM's a PM. I can only speak for myself but I have always liked it a lot in Sabre and it can only get better.

As someone who has just left sabre (my own reasons) i cant find a bad word to say about the guys there
thay are a good bunch and i will miss some of them dearly, people looking for an rvr guild could do a lot worse than sabre.

Ive grouped with some sabre members in RvR and to be quite honest they were some of the better people I've ever played with, good luck with the recruitment and im sure any mature person will ignore the pointless flames here.
