RvR reached an all time low?

Thanks to ToA, yes another whine about ToA, RvR in Midgard is just about dead. I often port to emain and see numerous stealthers/buff bots, maybe 3 or 4 none stealther classes to group with. At the same time Albs are running around with 4fgs, and Hibs are nowhere to be seen.

Mids finally get enough people to make 1 - 2fgs, around 8pm, and Albs are all of a sudden nowhere to be seen. Around 9pm theres usually an hour or 2 of fights, then it dies down again.

3am same night, Hibbies come out, 2fg+... Suppose my Question is, when will this hell end? When will Albs stop zerging in stupid numbers, and when will hibs get the balls to run out prime time? - i just about had enough of being run over by 2fg Elf Brehons at 3am...


/me remembers the good old days when RvR was fun... thx ToA!

I reckon RvR has it's off and on days tbh, 1 morning saw 1 fg of albs and 2 fg mids and the occasional fg of hibs running about, ofc mids wtfpwn'd all bout 70% of the time

I went to Emain solo at about 11pm and got invited to a fg hibs that ran with anotehr fg.

First we killed your fg mids at MMG (remember some of your deeathspam Phixion) and then we had a great fight at mmg with 2fg vs 2fg. We won.
At the end u killed us though.


I had a great night of RvR. And we wer'nt the only one in a zerg..

I'd disagree about this being TOA fault, its really the fault of the players. Afterall you make the choice to go to TOA and ph34rm the artifact mobs, and do the MLs - its all a concious decision made by people, this is further emphsised by the fact that people then chose to do some RvR.

tbh I think TOA has actually done RvR some good, I went out a few nights ago to see what I could see and actually had fun! And... good fights!!! In a random group!!!!! WITH THANES!!!!!!!!! - so I suppose it depends on your perspective, personally I don't care much about FoTM setups or ph34rmin' t3h 1337 RP. Of course some people might say that means i'm a noob even though i've probably got more /played time under my belt than half the FoTM kiddies out there

Really ruins the rvr.. Takes ages to get 1fg for RvR cuz Of ToA really.

Then we run into 4 fg albs after 5 min in Emain. Whats the fun in that?

Our caster grp's really own now, and I'm sure you will feel it when RvR comes to a normal stage again

Try to checkout the Daoc-stats.de stats over Albion on Exc. The site compares the chars/levels etc. on the Realms.

Albion stats is really a laugh. They own like 40% of the lvl 50 chars on the server. Givf /level 30 imo ^_ ^

does it also show how many accounts per realm are active? cos there are probably 300 necros who never go RvR, and i myself have quite a few level 50's, just cos we have more doesnt mean they are all on at the same time.

i'm not saying that albion has less population, cos we all know it isn't true, i'm just sayign there is more than one way to interpret data

Just my thoughts, if you take a step back you might see what I'm talking about, I've been in RvR nearly everynight this week and its been the same pattern, except for last night where Hibs come out to play around 11pm. Other than that, last week - 0 hibs prime time :/

When I see a pointless post I see no reason to add any point to it. What was the point of this thread? It's a combination of "ToA sucks" and "albs zerg", and I am sure everyone can agree that this has been discussed time and time again on this forum. Bring me something new to talk about and I will be happy to do my best.
