RvR on Prydwen

well i think the RvR this weekend ahs been excellent, middies taking all 6 relics certainly livened things up.

Midds did a great raid to get all 6 relics, then i heard all the gloom mongers saying RvR was going to die. But Albs and hippies showed some backbone to have a go at causing a bit of trouble in odins this weekend. Middies defended well and overall a fun weekend of Daoc.

Hope all realms keep it up.

greatred, I actually agree with Salazzar's original post.

What followed was an unconstructive and unfounded whine with no basis in reality. Hence why it got zero sympathy and a fairly direct response.

What puts me in a position to say?

I've been playing RvR the last few days and been active in some of the fun thats gone on. There's been some great play from all three realms, lots of surprises, lots of things happening.

Mids were playing the defenders. Yeh, Mid had all 6 relics. Mid had the weakest defence around relic keeps you are likely to see in the game which is always the best time to go attack.

And attack the Albs and Hibs have, in great numbers with great frequency. Its been fantastic fun.

Rushing up the slopes of Mjollneir while there's a battle raging. Standing guard on Grallahorn with scouts scouring the frontier for an enemy force we know just passed their milegate. Making wood runs hoping the defenders on the milegates will keep the enemies off you so you can get safely to the relic keeps to repair.
Things like setting off from Glenlock with only 36 Mids knowing over a hundred Albs are camped in or around Nottmoor. Its like the stuff of stories. Raar.

Fun with a capital F. Fuck it, capital U and N as well.

If you like realm war, thats exactly what there has been the last few days and ALL sides have got to participate and have a crack.

It would actually be fun to see what various players involved in various parts of this weekend's raiding were doing as their part that contributed to it, I bet a lot of people have a lot of fun stories from various things that have happened.

Been fun different kind of RvR but whit a reason (defend relics) I dont enjoy large scale fights day in day out same goes for fg v fg need bit of all, and we sure had that last days.
