i was making a joke in reference to the South Park Episode where they say 20 years has passed Aids is finally funny, linking back to what you said i was showing that when you said bomb london it wasnt funny as it was too soon, but now someone else has mentioned the proper time has passed so it is funny

Exactly.

I wasn't making a funny at the time, just pointing out that "seeing something like london(big city) bombed would look cool", that has no time relevance. Even if i said it now, people would take offense, i can qua-f*cking-rantee it.

And about the AIDS thing, in these forums, as we are patrons here, it's a tabu still to make jokes about. So the south park "comparison" was a bit moot.

Like said, the AIDS thing is just a fact that i'm saying, and it's true, even if it's an observation based on your post(which might not have anything to do with it).

I got what you meant by "time has passed", basic rule of jokes, yes. My point was never about that.
I got what you meant by Southpark, gave a view on that, not disagreeing.

Well to be honest, my initial comment to your "joke", was "just saying" like i said, then you continued to discuss the matter further and then turned a a complete 180 and said "But it was a joke".

Yes, but you took part of the discussion without knowing that others hadn't perceived it as a joke. Which you have to admit, shows no signs of a "joke".

IIRC someone said that nuclear bombs were the only reason the world was safe now-a-days.

People are scared about nuke weapons so they build thier own. It keeps the peace, but the wrong sort of peace

There are alternatives to nuclear weapons - air fuel bombs. Exploded in air over land, they incinerate everything, but no nasty radiation.
