mage damage is very high, but its compensated by high value resistbuffs and insane amount of interrupts available everywhere. warlock doesn't have this problem, the entire class relies on insta's or uninterruptible spells in rvr. once they ran out of chambers and power, they're worthless

like, 70-80% of the skill involves in playing a mage is avoiding interrupts, position themself right so they dont get interrupted, etc. a mage that knows how to play makes a world of difference from a crap one

put a crappy player on a warlock however, and they'll still be able to kill stuff, because the only 'skill' involved in playing a wl is pressing insta's, ui's and targetting fast. the class design is just wrong. highest damage AND they dont have the interrupt problem

i like the balance between melee and magic atm, but classes like bd's (insta debuff/lifetap), bainshee (uninterruptible spells) and warlock chamber/ui's disrupt that majorly. not even banelord is as bad as those spells.

stun in some situations is overpowered, agree with that, but in 8v8 where people have resistbuffs it isnt really that much of a problem. its naive and stupid to asume that all hib mages stun before nuking anything in any situation, but i guess with your extensive rvr experience you would know better than everyone else

and this comes after playing an eld for ages, a bl champ for a while now, and i also tried warlocks some (/beg garb ).

You really don't want to stun certain classes (anything that you can't kill quick that can mash tendrils, e.g. pokai)...

Oic, warlocks arent overpowered, a minstrel (which has to be one of the most overpowered solo classes in the game atm), just has to use pretty much all his ML abilities to win... sometimes you actually have a to think before you say something Chronictank.

While the warlock can kill about any soloer without purge/cure poison with his insta range dot on insane range if he wants. And if that doesn't work just unload his chambers and kill most classes in 2 secs. Hmm yes I gues we're wrong!
