Anyone know how to go about this? I'm from the UK but currently in Australia (Perth ^^), stopped at Singapore on the way here and that is where I got the PS2. Heard chips work but then again it's illegal so where to get it chipped I don't know. Burning CDs would also work I guess but don't have acess to a CD-burner until I get home. Was hoping to play PAL games asap as in Australia they are PAL, and NTSC in Singapore.

Thanks.

There's software exploits you can do. Not sure if they work on a slimline but my normal size ps2 has a HDD fitted and plays both PAL and NTSC games with no mod chip, just an original PS1 game disc and a bit of jiggery pokery.

PM me if you want the location of a good place to start your search.

Chips are illegal? Austrailia has some odd laws. :p

Illegal in UK and Australia due to Sony winning some tribunal.
