Hi,
Im trying to get DAoC to run on my boyfriend's laptop but everytime we get into the game the floor doesnt appear - this seems to be the only problem (Although it does seem to freeze sometimes). This happened to me when i originally put DAoC on my pc and i was advised on Freddyshouse to install Catalyst Drivers (i think) for my Radeon graphics card. Could this be the problem again?

His laptop has a "Via/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP" graphics card (i think - i dont know a thing about computers!).

Any help would be great!

Thanks!

Even if anyone has any tips on running DAoC on a laptop at all?

I may be completely wrong about the graphics card by the way!

I doubt a unichrome IGP will run daoc, as S3 aren't particularly powerful chips.

Check www.s3graphics.com and try to update your drivers from there. Post once you've done that, or if you get stuck doing that. And i'll see what else we can try :)
