I know Ive said in the past that Im not a cat lover, but at my mums the cat (well, kitten) once brought home a baby rabbitt in its mouth, a wild one obviously.

The cat sat in the conservatory with this rabbitt by the scruff, the rabbitt was shit scared, you could tell by its eyes. I kicked the cat :)p ) and it dropped the rabbitt, which ran into the fecking house.

So, me being 16 and all that, I went out and left it there.;)

Just another example to reinforce my opinion that cats are shits.
You wouldnt be so pleased if Id taken photos of my alsation chewing on your cat now would you ?
So dont ecourage your cat to do it to mice. Mmm? Remember how ever hard you are, theres always a bigger cunt in the pub down the road, I think is teh moral ;)

I have to say, if I ever get a pet it will be a cat, I prefer cats to dogs, cos they require a lot less attention, etc (I'm a lazy feker). But I do realse that cats are evil little gits. If I see my cat going after animals and stuff, I stop him, I don't care if it's natural, he ain't doing it in front of me.

Quite right K, i dont let my dog chase peoples cats or dogs. She is bloody keen to do both I assure you, if I was less responsible im sure she would be the terror of my neighbourhood, as she simply hates everything with fur or feathers. Christ she even chases
(and catches, and eats) wasps and bees in the garden.
I dont mind the favourite hobby, which is chasing squirells, because she is far too slow for them speedy little buggers, particularly as they have the ability to go straight up !

Badgers are hard as nails, so the cat would be dumb to do that :)

He's got an Alsation(sp) not a cat yucky, and yes badgers are hard as nails, although the badgers what throddy knows are probably wussies with them being southerners and stuff!!

You would..

They are not shite's (well they are) they are wild animals - cats are not "domesticated" at all, that people let live in their houses.
Until it's night time then they let the buggers out to terrorise, mame and kill the local wildlife while they sleep with a clear conscience.

Cats are fab. I miss my old one who died ages ago so I think I'll get another one. Besides you dont have to follow a cat round with a plastic bag every time they go for a shit.

My cat brought in a young bird the other day. He didn't get harmed badly, just shit-scared. I managed to catch the cat before he did any damage, and threw him across the room. They always land on their feet anyway so it's hardly harmful - just gives them a brief shock...

I must of missed the replies to this thread, apologies all, particularly my good freind Tremor :)
Cats are shit cunts ,and thats an end to it. the fact that its thier nature doesnt excuse it , quite the reverse. It explains it. I still wouldnt hurt one though.
Southern Badgers are rock 'ard Trem, well known fact m8, and me hound has a non -aggression pact with all of them round here, due to mutual respec' an all dat ting :)

I cant believe you would stop a cat killing another animal.
Why dont we stop all animals killing each other, and fuck over the food chain and the planet right now!

Yeah that's killing for survival, domestic cats don't need to kill to survive though.

So you think I should let my dog kill the neighbourhood cats do you moron ?
Or are you incapable of rational thought ?
Or can you just not read ?

Exactly Throddy, cats are just not as easy to stop as dogs seeing as they are more independent, if I had a cat and I saw it stalking a mouse I would stop it, just like I stop my dog ragging cats.

Yep, kill the cats!

I doubt your dog could kill the neighbourhood cat.
Cats are very fast and agile, and would probably leg it over a fence or up a tree.
Cats are also vicious creatures, and have been known to fend off dogs.
They mark bark at them and strain at the lead but Mike Tyson proves that means Sweet FA.

It's the cats that frighten off the dogs round here, they gang up, outnumber and surround the poor canines, scares the shit out of them...
