RR5 Shades plz advise

Ok I have to decide what ra's to spec, I have 41 to spend, and I cant really decide what to do. In fact its a real pain in the ass, and tbh i was quite happy with Ap3 and Purge, why oh why did they change it all?

So if any similar rr shades can help out with some advise plz, it would help loads.

Also another headache caused by deciding to respec skill or not, at the moment I am,

Pierce 44+15
cs 34
cd 28
Env 35
Ste 35


Does env need to be modified 50 for lifebain? or is lower env for maybe str/con debuff enough, and putting rest in cd.

Is pierce 44 and cs 44 a viable spec these days?
ffs too many variables to cope with lol

I put a post on VGN forums about RA they all say up to RR4 to get MOS3 Vanish 1 Purge 2 then put some in aug dex that will take you to RR4L5.

Not much to help melee damage etc there but apparently it helps u to live longer and more chance of seeing scouts etc before its to late. Thats the general NS RA's they say to get first..

OFC ive not tried it yet as my NS is still in DF killing the odd mids that decide to xp in there.

I'm trying out all sorts of RA's atm while I can do it for free and, imo:

Purge 2 is a must, 1 is useless due to the delay & 3 is too expensive untill RR8+
Vanish 1 has saved my ass a few times but it is horribly bugged and is not just a case of hit the button - it takes some timing, especially with keep guards on you
I got 2nd wind 1 but rarely use it, gonna stick to pots to save the RSP's
MoS2 does little, get 3 and then, if you want more, make the jump straight to 5 when you can
I'd really like to try viper 3 but it's too expensive atm

Soooo: I'm sticking with purge 2, vanish 1 and MoS 3 as the base and adding some aug / toughness / MoP until I find a combination that suits me which means I agree with What Tiger has posted about the VN boards

About the speccing:

There is a long thread on vn about only speccing a total of 51 (spec+rr+equip) in main weaponline and if its viable or not... Pretty intresting imo

Yes interesting stuff indeed.

Would mean respeccing from pierce 44 +15 down to pierce 36 +15 = 51
I am looking at these threads closely and may be ready to respec just for the hell of it. can always respec back

u cant respec skills with the respec stones bought from merch they are only for RA's or adleast thats what i was told....

Well, my current setup for RAs is:

- Purge 2, no explanation needed I guess
- MoS 3, bit more speed and slight chance to detect all those archers and mincers in time
- MoP 3, not a huge damage add but still makes a difference
- Vanish 1, lifesaver when getting adds or finding out the person PAd is a tough tank
- Aug str 1, to add WS and damage
- Aug dex 1, as above

I've found that setup to be very nice for my playing style.
