seen a few rr2 chars in thid so far, i'm curious how they got there. I wanted a rr2 sb there but rps are harder to get than i imagined;(, i tried roaming with a few guildies, which although took my toon to 24 yielded around 50 rps/ kill. Even solo kills with oil only give around 100rps. So how did you get the rps for rr2 ? :(

I thought there was some cap of RR1L7 at 24, maybe im wrong.
Cap for level 24 is realm rank 2 level 4.
Been there myself with Erdna, my Thidranki Shadowblade :)
And to all that think 'wooow, that is just so overpowered!',
my answer is NO its not. Only Vanish for SB's, Infil's and NS's.
The exstra +1 skills insn't that uber again.

I would say that even if it is 'overpowered' then that shouldn't matter anyway. You earned it. You can use it. The majority of the people who scream overpowered are the poor guys you've just twatted silly. Its just a game, and if you happen to be RR2 in thid, then you've put in the time to be that RR. I'd loved to have reached there with my old shade MrMiagi, but accidentally digned him 25. Maybe people reach RR2 because they dun wanna grow up past thid, because lets face it; thid is fun. Heh, almost like never never land.

Well, its a big advantage. Coz, like a stealther, can get IP1, Vanish and MoS2 (if i count it right). Or if u're specced to kill other stealthers, u get MoS 3, and u still have 3rsp's to put in aug xxx. With MoS 3 u'll probably get u're CS styles much easier, coz u walk faster and can see them first.

When i saw it, couldn't edit it, when i said IP1, was wrong coz, i meant FA1. And as other stealthers i mean other stealthers classes besides assassins.

so being overpowered doesent matter then right? then u wouldent have a problem if Mythic decided that they would roll back the fixes to zerkers and SB's insane LA damage then right? coz after all, they took the time and patience to roll that class and level it to 50...... was nice to play a zerker back then when u could 3 hit kill a BB'd paladin that had 950 to 1000+ AF....

To keep the Char lvl down and keep collecting those RP's just suicide. Just don't forget to go to a healer.

I got 350 rp in 3 days in thid with my NS and almost got lvl 25 5 times, exp is too good so if u dont sui u will never get 350rp without gettin lvl 25 first. Greast now that u dont have to leave when u get 350 rp aslong as u dont ding 25.

I myself is abit against the magical rr2 in thid.. Simply because I think that it's abit a silly advantage to have... If u want a good thid char, then sc it, that would be enough...

SOS, Vanish, MoC, MCL, Charge, IP, etc etc.. all that shit dont belong there if u ask me.... If it did, then i think mythic would have set a higher cap on rps u can earn in there. (That they do allow u to come into thid with more rps that u can actually earn in there must remain a mystery to me :eek7: )

See u out there :D

Theres a cap there for a reason...theres no advantage in having it some will say then why get it?

most get 4 points to spend...rr2 gets 10 +1 specs...why do they want the extra points and +1specs...IF makes no diffrence at all!!

The best way to make RP isnt to run with your lvl 50 mates, theres a cap on all the rp u recieve from thier kills, even in a duo , so it isnt worth the time, not to mention u get about 2.5 bubs per kill. Solo killing a lvl 50 DOES achieve roundabout 1500+ rp, however , chances of this happening are slim <though if ure a seige bot they increase expeidentially :) > , oil works HOWEVER , unless that person hasnt been damaged at all for a while by another player, u wont yeild the full rp bonus, thats prolly why u got around 500 odd. I find the best way to gain the rp is to keep an ear open for keeptakes/towertakes/DEFENSES <-- , big battles can earn u 1-2krp just for being in the keep/tower vicinity if u stay there long enuf :) , remeber walking into nottmoor faste once on my mincer a while back some chanter stunned me , noticed i was grey hugged me and let me go, nice of him as i walked inside and was awarded 800rp for defending the keep lol, for nothing , at lvl 23 . <keep rp is dependant totally on the number of rp circulating around that battle at the time, so a long drawn out seige/take can earn anything up to 1k+ , towers generally earn u bugger all unless theyre being roof camped or covered in tons of enemies.

Here are my utility caclulations. They show that RR2 isn't nearly as powerful as you all suggest. Utility values are taken from a spellcraft calculator, with some minor adjustments explained below.
Code:
[font=verdana]Spellcraft
utility - 443.4 (100%)
Bot
utility - 189.0 (42.63%, cumulative: 142.63)
Healpots
utility - 45.5 (10.26%, cumulative: 152.89)
ToA
utility - 32.2 (7.26%, cumulative : 160.15)
RR2
utility - 30.4 (6.86%, cumulative : 167.01)

Extra information on calculations:
- For ToA I used 2 stat overcaps and 4% melee haste.
- 1% melee haste = 5 quickness (5*0.7 for utility values)
You don't get the evade effect, but I didn't deduct any points for that.
- 1 con = 2 hp. I calculated the utility value for hitpoints through the utility value for con.
This is because at level 24 you get less hp/con, so the utility of hp had to be adjusted.
- Healpots heal between 110 and 150 hp every minute (which means every fight).
I calculated their utility value by substituting it by 130 hp.
- To caculate the advantage of RR2 I used aug stat 3 (+22) and +1 to all skills.
I did thise because actives aren't always up and therefore the real utility value is debatable.
- I used 3 skills, 4 stats, 9 resists to calculate the utility values.
This is about the average for a tank in Thidranki.[/font]
Something's not right when people pick on the least important factor. The advantage of someone who's RR2 over someone who's got everything else of the above is 4.3%, a negligible difference.

The two most known RR2's in Thid are as far as I know Brokeninfiltrator and Sotha. I can assure you that they in no way suffer from the 'I have to win syndrome'. When I duelled Brokeninfiltrator he dropped his buffs, because he knows I'm always unbuffed. Not quite the act from someone who's desperate to win. I have never seen Sotha run with a pet, even though he's specced instruments and thus is able to do it. If he were so desperate to win he surely would use that tool as well?

One last thing you should consider is class and spec. There is very little skill involved in 1vs1 in Thidranki, it all boils down to a little bit of common sense and equipment/class/spec. I can play flawless, but still lose to someone with worse equipment. Why? Because I get unlucky or simply because the other player plays a class which has an advantage over mine.

altho.. i wont be doing it on my 24ns. keeping it pure.. and none lame :)
