Very fun night had by all, Like to say thanks to hib's and alb's for making a rather hectic evening

And ofc a very big well done to mids, who were outnumbed 2/1 the majority of the time due to albs and hibs attacking us at the same time,

Dont think i want to be leading another defence like that again Thanks all who listened to me etc, was a long and sometimes desperate defence, but hey, it all worked out ok, Makes me proud to be a mid

Very nice defence Snornig, thanks for taking the lead thanks to Trollum etc also. Was a very fun evening returned from work around Midnight logged on 41RM killed couple peeps in 40-44BG ported to svasud grouped with a guildmate (Maddude) went to Fens was 4-5 of us on it for a while got outer wall down and inner door to 60% or so before reinforcements arrived, then moved Glen and onto Bled some nice fights lots of fun, shame sleep is needed for work in the morning

Tbh we wanted to take a glen tower to take the pressure of alb being attacked but the first one we came to got taken before we got there ..... regardless of what hibs were doing ..... they usually jump on us albs attacking mid keeps anyways so when hibs started moving towards us the first time we were shocked they didn't try to leech on our good work as usual, which left us wondering why the mids weren't trying going to try and get hibs as they had more keeps and towers than us, which left it open to RR ... so no coop, started out as a PL guild grp .... ended up as all out war ..... Well done Snugglebot! and good work to the other realms ..... felt like a good night, took out my mini for the first time to rvr (lvl 45) and went up to rr2

I went to sleep just after midnight (nerf fun stuff during workdays evenings), and the last thing I thought was to still see our relics this morning... excellent job :worthy: Considering Midgard classes performance in NF, still having them after two weeks is an accomplishment.

And it was good to see the underpopulated realm outnumbering us ... good sign. Now just stop breeding tho ... those shrooms hurt !

Was really nice. Im almost dead at work ( Just too short time to sleep ) but already repeat that.
Ty snornig for ur lead on defense, u keep all of us in the battle. Ty for the leading on keep retake/defense to all that people who do that ( Trollum, jake, madudde, runar... Cant remember all of them ) and ty all defenders on glenlock for NEVER think keep was down.
With doors at 4%, loads of hibs inside and Mushrooms in all walls we finally survive.

Albs and hibs did a great work too. Just for a moment inside Glen I was almost sure u can win and we cant do nothing. Just a minute after that i start runing oil with 2 healers on me for heal.

Give revenge Snornig, next time we kill our enemies in his lands, not over the white snow of midgard!!!!

yeah nice raid Aran, still luv to know how Albs couldnt/didnt take Glenlock when they were on it for 3 1/2 hours, in rugby they call it deliberate obstruction, soccer its called offside, motor racing its the blue flag hmmm wonder if mythic could invent something similar

i think if you chose another keep first ,you take it easly.

Same thing happened when we tried to take Hilds at the weekend....after starting at 11am [there was alrdy a hole in the wall at this point] took us till 2 ish to have enough people to attack the mids...about 3 we got into the keep and got inner almost down till some mids came out on the top floor and killed the support people up there....then slowly picked off everyone on the lower levels.

Still people are getting closer to taking keeps now, so i don't think it'll be long before we see a set of tactics that work and keeps start being taken.

We then unashamedly stole Riska's of GoP (I think) ram that was parked outside, and piled in, and decided to have a ram raid. (oh yes, so lucky that no one saw us, as our speedy "ram raid" was going at about half walking pace).

After having stolen the hubcaps off the ram, and abandoning it in disgust on Glenlock bridge cause it wouldn't go over it, we moseyed on down to Glenlock 2, where we took and claimed the tower for PL. At this point there was just about 2fg.

Suddenly we looked round and there were enormous numbers of mids around us. (Yes, at this point I think I got Zebolted <waves to Zebolt>). Alb reinforcements arrived, as did Mid. Was so concentrating on the battle it was only halfway into the night I even noticed the hibs had somehow in that time got 2 keeps (grats hibbehs!).

In summary, lots and lots of fun. Thanks to all, and very well defended to the Mids, imo!

The Ram Raid was funny, though trying to drive it into the river may not have been wise ;p

Basically after beno fight our GoP grp decided to visit Midland and along with PL took a couple of green con towers and stayed at Glen 3 for the rest of the night. I do not think there was ever a really serious keep take attempt, we just kept defending our poor battered tower from the masses. Second night running I have been at one of these long term stand offs, the Mids could beat our gate down (very slowly with ranged siege) then get wasted when they try to zerg the tower. we repair gate and wash rinse repeat.

As for hibs/alb cross realming well it looked more like mid/alb cross realming when the hibs turned up at glen as we stopped fighting each other to hit the hibs.

The standoffs are a bit disappointing though, nice rps but too static

Aye was great fun but what did surprise me was the amount of mids at PL alb tower, even when Hibs was taking the second keep, so im suspecting that Mids hate Albs a whole lot more then they hate hibs, cant blame them really, but great fun lets do it in Hibbie land havnt been there since NF
