What are the best RPGs out there to play? Got nothing else to play on my PC these days as bored of eveything, so come on people, give me some games you think I may like

the Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 are awesome if thats your kind of thing, then there's the usual lineup:

Fallout 1 & 2
Baldurs Gate 1 & 2
Planescape Torment etc

if you want a more first person shooter approach try Morrowind + Oblivion or for future stuff Deus Ex (first one is abit old but still damn good fun )

only oblivion is really graphics intensive of those though, cant think of more now but will try

hmm..bought heroes of might and magic yesterday...more of a strategy game with a rpg twist to it though but it seems like a nice cute game that will keep you ocupied for a few years
Also it got great review from almost all big pc magz. But oblivion rocked...was a game i was happely suprised about, great rpg

Depends a bit on the style of rpg you like. If you liked Diablo 2 you will like Titan Quest - should get a stability patch on Wednesday but in any case had no issues with it.

Dungeon Lords might be worth a look, I personally found the controls difficult to work with because I don't like being forced to trun with the mouse Quake style.

If you like exploring huge worlds and doing lots of quests but never really feeling you've progressed because all the creatures you fight level up with you - then go for Oblivion.

Single character game in D&D setting that'll always have something new in terms of add-ons/maps NWN - can pick it up pretty cheap these days including expansions but NWN2 is on the horizon.

My favourite all time rpgs were the old AD&D gold box games and I've never really found anything in the new generation rpgs to match them, despite trying almost everything that comes out :/

If you've got a PS2 I'd highly recommend Dragon Quest though - also Summoner bit old now but I loved the storyline of it.

As for the RPGs, Ideally, I like ones if poss, that have a kick ass story, a la Final Fantasy

have you tried oblivion marc? Its really really well done and i think the best since baldurs gate series when they came. brilliant graphics....story line really really cool also

Baldurs gate 2 is ok but if u rly cba with shit grfx etc go for neverwinter nights... the 2nd instalment of this game will b out relatively soon aswell so good timing
