The RBs never really died, they started recruiting again towards the end of last year, however last month they entered hibernation again. It's this second "death" that has probably led to this post being bumped.
Most of the members headed off to Shadowlord Society (or so I've been told)
They'll probably pop up when the GM can be bothered to return to DAOC.
