rowing machine

Im after a cheap, smallish rowing machine for indoor use. Needs to be delivered as i cba going to pick it up - what can you guys advise on what to get.

how much floor space do you have? one i have takes up shitloads of space therefore resides in the garage. can get them for pretty cheap but postage will bite u on the arse.

That's the one I got and it is very good. It folds up on it's end nicely and doesn't take a huge amount of room (have it behind the sofa in our 7 bedroom uni flat). It's a lil on the heavy side but hey, you're after some exercise afterall?

tbh if you get a cheap one it will prolly end up breaking within a year so if you do get oen buy from argos or somewhere that offeres 3 year insurance for like a £10'er

it might be worth spending a little extra tbh because when ive brought cheap exercise equipment off ebay its seldom been worth it and its such a hassle to get it repaired

Check charity shops etc. if you're on a budget.

Believe we purchased one for about £70 from a charity shop - ended up being a top draw make with no problems.

I personally got a "Kettler Coach", great model, very quite and pretty comfortable seat so you are not sore after 40 minuts on rowing

and I got it cheap used, and they are excellent after 5-10 years of usage, as long as the wire is changed, which is pretty cheap to buy home and easy to replace yourself

EDIT: and it is "small", as in small for a rowing machine, so easy to have standing, it can even be tipped up to stand against the wall, a bit unstable standing through as it was not specificly designed for that
