Hi Chaps

Looking for a little help here. My broadband keeps dropping out. I've had 5 engineer visits and they seem unable to fix the problem and the unreliability is hurting my work (wfh). I

My wife has an iPhone phone with all you can eat data unlimited tethering (one plan) which works quite well with 3g (much faster than my ADSL, anyway). As the iPhone wifi tether has limited devices and range, I want to try to use it as a gateway and share the connection wirelessly (or even wired) throughout the house. But I can''t find a product that will do this. Most range extenders cant be routers, and as far as I can tell, I can't connect it as a gateway to my (shite) plusnet router.

Help much appreciated.

Cheers

hmm only thing I can come up with is to use an old computer or laptop for the connection, and allow internet sharing / routing on that device. So, plug phone in to the designated device, enable connection sharing / routing / whatever....profit!
